@@XDR972 Oh hi! Just saw this notification sorry for the delayed response. The answer to your question is "it depends". Not a great answer I know... But it will depend on a lot of different factors, your age, your living situation, work, insurance, financial situation, etc... For me it was easy, I came out and started transitioning at 44, so I socially transitioned and the told my doctor that I wanted to start hrt and boom here we are. However I was extremely fortunate and privileged to be able to do so. If you are under 18, you can socially transition anytime as long as you are safe to do so, and you should look into starting therapy with someone who specializes in gender issues so you can get a gender dysphoria diagnosis. Then (depending on your age) find an endocrinologist to start either puberty blockers or HRT if that is the route you want to go. There is no strict rule on how/when to transition. Everyone is different and all of our journeys look different. There is no right or wrong way to be trans. Look to see what services are available to you in your area.
