From cutting the trees to now being just about done the walls, this video shows the entire process of the log home build over the past year. I started this massive build when I was 21 with very little log building experience and I have done all of the work myself. It is amazing how far things can come in 1 year!
This video is a summary of 12 videos that I have made on the build thus far
You Can View the entire playlist here to see all the footage from the build so far: • Building My Log Home P...
This video is divided into chapters that separate the different stages of the process:
0:00 Intro
0:24 Cutting Trees
2:04 Getting Logs Out
3:10 Starting the Build
7:44 Peeling all the Logs
12:28 Building the Walls

Welcome to Traplines and Inlines
I have the pleasure of sharing my passions for the wilderness, building, fixing and all other things interesting with my great group of KZbin friends.
I have lived offgrid in the bush for over 3 years, but now I am moving to the next chapter in my life and am building a big log home as my next place to live. It is going to be an incredible journey building my own home. I am using logs I harvested myself and plan to do most of the work by myself. This project will be the main focus of my channel, with many other adventures along the way im sure!
Thank you for watching

@@demetter7936just because you might live somewhere where everyone kills your food, furs, and store bought clothing and everything else don’t act like it all falls from the sky.😂 Trapping has been done since the dawn of time and is fine profession. At least this kid does the work and isn’t like some channels where the magical stack of cut lumber just shows up on the free land behind daddy’s farm. This kids gonna do just fine. By his own humble hands and hard work.

I watched this on my TV then came into my PC to comment. You have a super work ethic which shows in the way you were raised. Your upbringing shines on the wonderful people that guided you. As a long time viewer(long time) I have always appreciated your attitude to do it right or not at all. God Bless you in all things you do. Have a super week.

I’am pushing 60 and have been into construction and the outdoor life all my life. This has always been a dream of mine. The difficulty I have is the lack of large trees where I live. Built lots of houses, schools, cabins but not my dream log home. Hoping to retire and stay healthy so I can make it happen. So much respect for you young man, you remind me of me 40 years ago. So enthusiastic!
