The editing is really great, I haven't finished watching the whole thing. But after skimming parts of the video, there's at least new video angles introduced and there's not much dead air when he's not doing anything. We always see progress somehow and hear his movements when chopping, shaving, or moving wood lol.

Anybody that builds a log cabin with this method, I’m instantly subscribing. As a house builder with 40 years experience, I understand, appreciate & marvel at the skill and artistry these cabin builds require. Your video title says no experience, but you can’t see this done somewhere and copy. It takes hands on attempts, failing, correcting many times and understanding, which translates to experience. Most regular folk would be frighted to touch any of the tools you used and cared for. All that said, it was a pleasure to watch and you are a remarkable, hardworking and very accomplished builder and content creator. Thank you for sharing.🔥🔥❤️💯

Hello Matt! What a wonderful cabin project! You're doing what I never did, and I admire it! I enjoy the process and dedication you have toward your cabin goal. I also find it hilarious that often there are edited inserts of insects, birds, and animals in your videos. It reminds me greatly of the 1970s television show, The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams. However their inserts were stock footage. I don't think you're using stock footage at all! Oh, to be young and healthy again like you. Keep up the good work, and I'm enjoying the process immensely!

I've framed houses and built cabinets with my dad since I was twelve. I definitely appreciate having modern tools, but it's pretty awesome to look back to where people started as craftsmen. I hope you got a lot of joy out of this project!

Just a couple questions. Where did you get food from?, Where did you wash your clothes? Where did you get the concrete from and other materials? Did you start with them? Where did you get your hair cut? Just wondering no hate. And where did you sleep?
