I'm surprised it didn't explode! I had bought 2 perfectly riped ones, ate one, which was sweet n very good, the other one, I stored away. A few days later, not even a week later, I started smelling this weird smell, and traced it to the other watermelon, that had literally exploded and what a mess it was to clean up!!!

IDK, but it isn't like it wasn't deteriorating during that time.... could be organic as some things do store well; thus the thick rind of the watermelon. It SHO' don't look gud though! LOL
