Justin just wanted you to know that 3 weeks ago when given the diagnosis of Bladder Cancer my first thought was of you when you got the news of Winston’s presence. It was as if someone slapped me dead on in the face. Kinda, you know, knocks you backwards. I am 73 years young and this was one of the most back-steps in my life with exception being my heart attack and open heart surgery almost 4 years ago now. I’ve had my surgery and the removal of 3 tumors from the bladder. At the moment my doctor is holding off on any chemo treatments but will have regular bladder scopes as he said bladder cancer most often returns but if mine did not he didn’t want me to go thru the chemo effects. All in all I wanted to just take a moment to thank you for the positive and uplifting attitude and comments when you went through the news, surgery and lingering effects of your brain tumor. I have enjoyed your channel for almost 4 years ago when I accidentally found your channel while in the hospital getting over my heart surgery. Thank you again, Justin!

I was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder freshman year of high school, Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH for short)... I relate to your story in an interesting way. My treatment lasted nearly 10years before I just had a bone marrow transplant to wipe everything away. Like an all system reset. But! during that time and still to this day, all of the events that have brought me here today and closer to God. One of my favorite scriptures that I found my senior year is Psalm 118: 17-18, and I wanted to share it with you and your family. It brought me support during rough times, and encouraged me to keep on going. "I shall not die but live and will proclaim what The Lord has done. The Lord has chastened me severely but he has not given me over to death" Keep on doing whatcha doing! Happy fishin'!

Dude, you've heard it a million times but you really are an inspiration. You and Stephanie both are absolutely beautiful people and proper role models for how to live this thing called life. My mom was diagnosed with cancer years back and her mindset, much like yours was the primary reason for her success. While researching the effects of chemo and radiation I stumbled across a Dr. Valter Longo who found that the effects of prolonged fasting served to protect healthy cells while almost exploiting the fast growing characteristics of cancerous cell by expressing the gene sequence towards self destruction. This makes treatment much more potent while protecting the body from harmful effects of chemo and radiation. I hope this post doesn't offend you in any way or provide any false hope, I know how there's an abundance of bro-science out there which can get super frustrating at times but if you haven't already just check out the topic for yourself. Particularity the scientific papers published by Valter Longo explaining gene expression as a result of the fasting. It might be a great supplement working along side of your treatment to keep Willis starving while you continue to beat his ass! Keep crushing it! Sending thoughts/prairs/good vibes! -Doug

I hate the sounds MRI’s make too lol. Between my traumatic brain injury and my knee issues I’ve had 9 MRI’s and probably 12-13 CT scans. One of my brain scans they did took almost an hour! It was torture lol. Unfortunately, whenever I can save some money I’ll have to get another MRI on my knee that hasn’t been operated on, as it has something torn in it now and I’ll need another surgery. I feel your pain Justin. Seeing your positive attitude you take helps me when I think about my issues. Just gotta take things one day at a time.

Praying for you man. I’ve personally been through something just like that, with a brain bleed from football. I got an almost identical scar as you. I had to go a week without half a skull and had to put a plastic like model of my skull in my head because my cut out part of my skull died and my body stayed taking it in as nutrients. I had to get out of school of about a year and I couldn’t ask for a greater outcome. Now I play basketball with only slight dips in my head with a bump on my head, part(like you) and shocked hair that doesn’t grow the same as the rest of my hair. I had two brain surgeries(one emergency) and the third for the fake skull. I just thank god everyday and grateful for everyone that helped me through that.

So glad that you've been making such an amazing recovery and you are bigger then ever! If I had to make a suggestion about the future, I think you're channel (and you) would really benefit form a kind of more educational/scientific video format that could be done occasionally... I know from you're older videos that you basically have a Phd in fishing, with the way you have grown (as a person and youtube creator) and just you're pure knowledge, that probably a lot of people dont actually know about... You could really do well by blazing you're own trail in that regard, with the position you are in now, I don't see why not.

it may seem irrelevant. But i wanted to say that i really appreciate everything you do and you have done so much for me. I have gone through addiction for a while. But i have been sober a little over 4 years now and i know that your videos 100% got me into bass fishing. And i know that Fishing has been a HUGE part of me staying sober and loving it. Thank you for everything. I Love your vids. Stay strong man you are a great person. We all have flaws but you have really shown your loving and caring personality and it has helped me greatly. Thank you
