@@AdamWellerr thanks dude! It’s alll good I learned all those tricks now last summer I got them! And got my dream trick switch and Nollie flip🤙

Just kick your heel straight off the side of the board. That’s how I learned. I didn’t bother trying to drag my foot diagonal up towards the nose, just straight off your toe side rail. It’s almost like magic, the board will just be there under your feet when you land. Don’t overthink it. Just do a halfcab and kick forward with your heel HARD. Hope this helps.

Ayo bro, keep pushin, a lot of shit we can’t do is mental blocks we have. A mental exercise that helps me is literally envisioning myself doing something and having immense confidence in myself as though I’ve done it a thousand times. Like every single attempt you literally say out loud “this next try imma hit this”. You may not get it every time but even if you don’t really believe it’s sorta like a fake it till you make it thing. And it’s really a life skill, like you can do it with literally anything in your life that you doubt yourself on.

See you gotta have the brain to know what to do, you gotta have the right body that performs, and you gotta have balls. I wasn't progressing fast at all and I got credit carded so I quit. I had a problem where I ride goofey but do tricks regular so it was like I was literally retarded when it came to skateing
@MrBreadisawesome2 жыл бұрын
I dont think people understand that if you focus on something and practice it enough that you will improve. Sad how many people think in such a stagnant way. Its all about the time and focus you put in. Anyone who thinks this is fake is just mad they dont have the motivation or determination to work this hard lmao

yeah and there is no shame in taking your time either. the dedication is admirable and this guy probably skated flatground almost everyday for a year and had some already predisposed knowledge on top of that to be that in touch with his body movements. I once got kinda sour because a freind of mine was progressing so much faster than me. turned out he was going to the skatepark for five hours a day on TOP of skating street with our group! my mind was blown when I started going to the skatepark with him and caught up within the month.
@alexsk83122 жыл бұрын
@@santosjohnson6401 exactly man I watched a good bit of skating before actually starting and I had played soccer for 10 years previous to starting skating so I had a good control over my feet so that definately helped with my skating

comments be like: “wow he progressed so quickly” and “he must be a natural” nah man, bro just has big balls and isn’t afraid to commit. the sole reason it takes people so much longer to progress is because they have a mental barrier. this is why after you do it the first time, you find it so much easier to replicate. any trick is just an action, no one is magically better than you at performing that action, they just commit fully which means they learn faster. literally just watch the technique and fuckin send it and i promise you you’ll progress faster

I learned to Ollie and shuv it on the third day of me trying to learn tricks after getting comfortable on the board and I guess it’s just how people perceive how hard something is and I like to learn a lot so skateboarding seems not that hard you just have to know what to do and get used to some stuff
