A near perfect everyday driver for those who want a nice car with versatility, and don't want to spend on a true luxury car. With the 2.5 turbo it would be hard to argue it's not a true luxury car minus the passenger options. It's also reliable. Great video man. Mazda really makes fantastic cars.

These cars are like top 3 most beautiful Mazdas ever and probably the most beautiful hatchback ever made. I absolutely LOVE them. I went looking for one last year but couldn't find the spec I wanted and i ended up with an Accord Sport 2.0 and while I adore my Honda..i cant help but stare at the 3 Hatchback when i see it on the road.

I'm strongly considering getting the VT superchager for my '22 hatch. Too sporty and beautiful of a car to be so far behind the type R, Veloster N, and other hot hatches. From what i've been researching you can get boosted 300crhp and 230-250whp and not risk engine/trans damage. Works for manual trans as well, more power than the turbo version for less the cost

I have the same tints on my red mazda 3 and a roof rack. Love it. Mine is a 2014 6spd with 360,000 miles. I haven't had to do any work to the engine, original clutch still, no seals are leaking. Last mechanic who did my oil change asked me when I had the engine rebuilt because he couldn't believe how dry the engine bay was. I just took a clay bar to it last week. It's looking good.

Nice HB! The very next upgrade I strongly suggest are the Corksport top engine and transmission mounts paired up with their under-pulley. This will give you a much faster throttle response and acceleration that you will absolutely feel. I am waiting for these parts to be delivered this week to prepare my engine for the VT Racing supercharger. The AFE intake is thew way to go, I run their filters in my half-bridge street ported RX8. That 2.5 is a superb and powerful engine that it's worth investing on performance mods to get the most out of it because it has a ton to give.

I've been driving this machine for almost 4 years now. Max spec leased unit. If it was my own, I would have invest to alter the body work a bit to make it the greatest hatch ever seen. Mazda 3 2019-2024 are just awesome machines. Such an amazing car to drive with one great exception. This car hates aquaplaning, scary to be honest. (Soul of a cat)Other than that, it sticks to the road like cray cray. The wet is like you stated not a problem, but waterpools omg stay away. I give all my cars a name. I will never forget the "Dragon Fly". I still have 4 months to drive it, and no sign of the 2025 model yet. I just don't feel like ordering the same machine again. I loved what you did to your car.

2022 Mazda3 Sport GT Turbo here. I wanted a manual fwd but Canadian winters can get snowy. I just had my window visors removed, I found them absolutely useless, the sun still pierced through the lightly tinted acrylic, and they make a slight wind noise ahh! Found out I can just drop all 4 windows with the remote fob anyway. And I only put my roof rack on if I have to carry something, wind noise! I got the ambient interior light and light up stainless steel door sills and love those!

Much like most of the mods to your Crosstrek, I love what you've done with this Mazda. These Mazda 3 manual hatchbacks are on my short list. It's lines/body are unlike anything else. I live in Texas too and my one worry is the ground clearance considering how bad the roads and streets are where I drive. Have you heard of a lift kit for this vehicle(2023-2024)? Just a couple more inches of ground clearance would be a huge difference. Thanks for sharing the mods. Your Mazda looks amazing.

Good video and great looking car. My wife has a 2016 CX-5 Touring FWD that we bought used in 2016 with 21k miles on it. It’s not mine so it’s not modified (I would have all the CS stuff on it). Hers is also white and the rock chips have always been bad. They use fewer coats or something it seems like. Anyway, the only real thing I wanted to say was she’s now at 189k miles and we still have had no real issues. One thing under warranty at the beginning, batteries, brakes, basic stuff. One front end link broke for the sway bar so replaced those. Still on stock struts and shocks even without issues. Otherwise absolutely perfect. With all the basic maintenance, these 2.5’s last forever.

Nice Ride 😊 Keep up the mods, it is looking good. You might want to go in and look at the Turbo version now just to see the body. That thing has subtle changes that look sexy. ... I have a 2016 with the 6S Manual and 2.5. It is a base model pure commuter car. I have 106K on it now. The only issue, and I mean only issue, I have encountered is around 60K the Brake pads will start to disintegrate and the calipers will eat your rotors in a couple days... it happens fast. Maybe 1 week from the 1st chirp to grinding rotors. So keep a watch for that. The rear calipers lasted until now (106K) but I just had them replaced as those were eating pads in 4 weeks. Also, I have no undercoating, not paint protectant and no rust or fading or pealing and I live in Ohio (Rust Belt). Mazda did a bang up job on this vehicle. 👍
@joshuabenitez326010 ай бұрын
Yeah you'll get more wheel spins on launches in FWD cuz the car squats towards the back during launch or rapid acceleration. Maybe a stiffer suspension setup in the rear will help. I was looking at getting a Mazda3, but I'm not a fan of the lack of visibility in the car. I'm sure most people can work with it. It personally gives me anxiety. I like to use my eyes to see my surroundings rather than trust sensors.

I know Mazda makes the miata which is such an iconic small sports car. But I really do wish that the 2.5L Skyactive 250hp AWD option was available with a manual transmission. The 191hp engine is alright, but if the 3 hatchback had more power stock, it would be such a good competitor against the GTI it would be insane. And then if you wanted more power, a simple tune could definitely push the power up to 300hp and now you're matching the nearly $50k Golf R, in a $35k Mazda. They're so close. I also hope that Mazda puts the new 3.3L straight 6 into the Mazda 6 to make it an awesome sports sedan

Mazda has answered this multiple times. They don't have a Manual Transmission that works with this engine (turbo) and it wasn't worth the RnD development time to make it for so few models sold. It would require them fundamentally redesigning the car. It's a lot more complex then just shoving a MT in there.
