I used to have a 3rd gen mazda 3 for a good 6 years. What an incredible car! After throwing on some Eibach Pro springs and a better wheel/tire setup, it was a ton of fun in the twisties too. My only issue was its lack of power (I had the 2 litre), but that was offset by its great gas mileage, and since I had the car for the entirety of my time in college, that latter point really saved my ass lol. Hope you enjoy yours, it looks incredible!

@ayyyyeeee1403 The wheels aren't bad, but I just don't think they fit the car, especially in white. Would rather have the car lowered on the stocks I think. But I don't even have my own car, so who am I to speak.
@Daniel-dj7fh7 ай бұрын
@ayyyyeeee1403 White wheels imo only really work with a ralley setup. The works-style wheels on older cars like the old civics or an r32 gtr. Despite really hating chrome, I've grown to really prefer silver wheels on an all black car, and in the case of the mazda 3 here it worked imo. I'm personally into small cars you can use. I l'd love to have a Porsche gt4 or gt3, but I'd probably equally love a VW up gti, or a polo gti if they sold them as manuals here in Germany. Stuff like the nd mx5 or gr86 are also bangers imo.

Slow as hell? what are you talking about? making the 0 to 60 in 6.5 seconds isn't precisely slow for not having any forced induction. But if you still want the car to be faster, get the Corksport turbo kit, now available for automatics too.
@Elite_Warfare2 жыл бұрын
slow but feels fast haha over all its a fun car to drive and tbh you can fit a lot of stuff in the hatch it's insane.
@JavierLianso2 жыл бұрын
@@Elite_Warfare the 2.0 is obviously slower than the 2.5 but the latter reaches its torque peak at 3000 RPMs, that's fast enough for the segment they compete. While the manual transmission is decent enough, the automatic version is faster than any CVT that you'll find in civics and Corollas. The 2.5 is light and fast, do a ECU tune and you can reach 220 hp max, enough to compete with hot hatches like the golf GTI. Install the turbo kit and you'll have technically a Mazdaspeed3 3rd Gen (which was never delivered)
