Again Im so in love with this journey and making this video seeing the changes that happened not only to my hair but to my confidence as well has been crazy! Ironically I miss my hair in the beginning stages sometimes especially the flexibility but I can’t believe how strong and thick my hair has gotten in the past months. What month was your favorite?

Started my loc journey almost 2 years ago...I had waves and im like im switching it up...so started growing my hair July 2019 got my first twist dec 2019 and mannn my hair has grown so so much and more growth to go!!! This video is everything I needed. I had pretty good length when I started as well so it was easy to put it in buns and ponytails. I’m in my 8th month now and my hair just started to shrink making it extremely hard to put it up because I have thicker locs as well. I started to feel self conscious and wonder if I was doing something wrong. This really helped me realize that it’s apart of the journey and the frizz is good! Thank you for being so authentic. I subscribed to your channel when you were just under 3k I love that your account is growing. I know you don’t do it for the numbers but girl! Im excited to see you continue to flourish! You and your hair are absolutely gorgeous! Most of my locks are a little over a month old, with the exception of the ones at the nape, which are three months old. I love the way that you embrace your locks and you're not set on trying to get them to look a certain way or "like" someone else's. To me, locks are like fingerprints and snowflakes. I'm looking forward to seeing the growth phase and whatever else.

The front of my hair is scraggly looking and the back is locn and budding sooooo quickly it makes me feel self conscious about wearing them down bc the front is NOT giving! So I've been wearing the front in barrel twist the last 2 retwist trying to build up confidence to wear it down next retwist 😬

Sometimes 😂😂 I learned to just deal with it though, i try to part it is best I can and usually more hair goes to my right side. I always have some out though because of hot it grows and just make it into funky edges

It’s bin 2 years now my hairs about 90% locked after about 3 days from a retwist its back to frizz city I’ve just accepted it for what it is

Thats normal! I thought retwists were supposed to last like a month but really its like 2 weeks for me depending on the style lol with twists/braids I usually do 2 weeks in the twists then 2 weeks unraveled

No not all women start with long hair, your hair shrinks up when loc’ing anyways so its not much of an “advantage” unless your hair is to your waist or something
