Hey! I am considering getting this lens in the near future. Did you feel like the 14mm was occasionally too wide? I am also thinking of maybe taking the 14-24 f2.8. I mostly do landscapes and astro.

It's hard to say,, what is better! F 14mm is often too much. But F 1,8 is very good fpr taking pics of polar lights! I think, nowadays I would prefer the F12 - 24mm. F 2,8 is also very good! But YOU must decide!!!

Cool to see someone taking photos of Hohenzollern! Its my favorite castle. So how do you feel about this lens? Ive seen mixed reviews. Kinda dissapointed about its astrophotography coma performance. Everyone had very high hopes for this lens too and its very expensive. Im not sure if its really worth the price.

Hi Scott, the lens is really expensive....and heavy. Too expensive??? I don't know!!! But I'm very happy with that lense! Use it mainly for landscape and architecture images, not often for astrophotography!
