This device filters well. Just note that the Laser sensor is not very sensitive to anything except smoke, so it might often say 001 as in perfect air and in auto mode it won’t run at a decent enough fan speed (lowest setting) to filter the air for the room size. I recommend just setting it to Manual mode and selecting the room size in m2 from the slider (using the Mi Home app). That way it will drive enough air through the unit to filter the dust and pollen from the whole room not just a small part of it.

Hi there, I just bought my Xiaomi Air Purifier. I did what you said and placed it to manual mode but it I can’t see the setting of “selecting the room size” and it still says 001. I’m not really sure what i’m doing wrong. 🤦🏻‍♀️

@@princesstommy9311 You aren't doing anything wrong, there's no way to select the room size for the manual mode on the purifier itself, as far as i know. For that you need to install the Mi Home app, and pair your purifier with it. Then you'll be able to set the desired room size for the manual mode, and it's super easy to do. Hope this helps :)

After replacing the filter, turn on the purifier, and press and hold the filter reset button for 6 seconds. A beeping sound indicates that the filter has been successfully replaced, and the filter service time has been reset.

When you turned it on and it said "Filter remaining 0%", did the fan turn on or not? I wanted to buy this but some people say it will refuse to work if the filter is 0%, and that would be a deal breaker for me.
