I just ordered one of these from Amazon was 25 bucks and it is coffee colored for my Seiko sur 525 to replace the jubilee bracelet that came on that watch. I've decided that I don't much care for bracelets I'd rather have something leather. But it seems common for people to criticize the Seiko jubilee bracelets and now that I've had this watch since August I understand why. It's much easier to loosen a leather strap on days that your wrist is maybe swollen or tighten it on days when it's not so large than it is to have to take a link out or put a link back in.

This is a spectacular piece, easily one of the top 3 "Under $1000" watches, usually compared to the Tissot Gentleman and the Seiko Alpinist. The Alpinist is perfect for outdoor occasions, the Gentleman for casual, but I agree that the 38 Murph is a great "dressy" watch. I have the Alpinist and the Gentleman, I will be getting the Murph 38 this spring.

Great review - thanks. I bought the same watch early summer this year after watching the movie Intersteller. I had the same issue with readability, not so much in sunlight, but in low light settings. I ended up returning it but recently purchased the new 38 Murph with bracelet. This was based on the Hamilton website indicating that the numerals were now raised improving the readability. I also liked the idea of the quick change bracelet . Thie readability is better but I’m just OK with it. I’m much happier with my 38 mm Hamilton khaki titanium w/ bracelet. Great contrast / readability and I think looks great. Love those straps btw.

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MAMACOO watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

I only own the 5000u. Feel like it's sufficient.

got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on AMZWATCH 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

On the first one I got the metal version GM-5600SS-1DR Street Spirit edition with the older 3229 module, but with negative display which is very clear. Functionality is exactly the same including seeing the time in stopwatch mode. The only difference is LCD backlight on the new one versus electro-luminescent on the 3229. In my humble opinion the LCD is a downgrade, though battery life is a little longer on it. Even though the most expensive I do have my eye on the tough solar one at the end! My GM-5600 is also 73 gms but it's from the metal bezel rather than the case back which is a standard one. Now, having watched your video I'm off to the "Tekel" as they say in Istanbul to get myself some Leffe beers !😊

Will someone explain why the tiny size of the M4 Mini is seen as an advantage? It seems to me just a gimmick. I would have preferred the M4 chip in the M2 housing. Of course, there's always the Studio.

I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the AMZWATCH has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.

A 40mm case with 20mm lugs will be perfect for this style. I don't know why Citizen designers are addicted to smelling glue.
