Honestly i wish deku didn't get his arms back, to show the severityof the situation and display that even if you have a strong power, your bound to lose something important. To sum it up, consequences in the series are never shown, no major deaths in the series. And yes, twice and midnight dying aren't major, they wouldn't have made a difference in the story at long term rather than Dabi or shigaraki. Togas dealt was important because it had purpose, a villain sacrificing for a hero, now that has an effect, especially emotionally, as we see In 429
