it isn't that impressive, he needed to die in order to evolve his quirk and get the adrenaline to not faint from the pain of using it, plus AFO was not defeated by being weaker than bakugo, AFO was defeated because using his power maked his body became younger and younger until he ended up being a baby with only a mediocre quirk, so Bakugo killed AFO who was practically a fetus. Katsuki is still weaker than the AFO that fought All Might in Kamino, and not to mention the AFO vs the heroes or the just rewinded AFO, and next to the real AFO prime he would be nothing more than a fly. of course it has its merit, but Katsuki at best has a power similar to Nana in her prime

I mean he didn't really beat the strongest version of AFO. Because of rewind, AFO was only a baby with a mediocre quirk by the time bakugo got to him, plus all might fought him while he was a teenager, and then self destructed the suit, which resulted in him being rewound into the baby that bakugo killed.
