James Ford has amassed over 10,000 hours of chart time in the Forex markets. This gave him the ability to understand price movement, why it happens and when. When to get out and to get in.
In this video James explains the building blocks of the market, i.e. Market Structure. He steps through how it price reacts to trading zones, where you would get into trades and potentially out of them.
What surprised me most was the fact there was no such thing as "pin point accuracy". Zones are the key to finding a trading strategy or system for the Fx market.

Price action - Backtest what you see happen over and over again at these areas

the confirmation you have it in front of your eyes. If you trade for example the 4h, zoom in to the 1h (or lower) and look for a close with rejection. This is your confirmation. You want a rejection which mean there is buyer/seller a this zone. Is there gonna be enough of them to put the price in your direction?, you don't know. Most of the time you might lose but when winning, you win more. That is it.

@7:01 when market spikes and "misses" by a couple pips, I believe it's because the focus of the entry was on the structure, as opposed to seeing it as a rejection of the Inverse FVG . Ie entry should been ever so slightly higher, at the base of FVG

That was a rejection wick/candle. Because of that massive rejection, there was no chance in hell for the price to move up to his sell order. To answer your second question, the more strict/disciplined you are as a trader, following your rules and plan, the more likely you are to be a successful trader. His plan for the move was to sell once the price hits his target, and if it doesn't and he misses the move, then oh well. You're not going to make a trade every single opportunity and everyone's going to view the charts differently, no one is going to have the same entries or exits. Also, who knows what could've been going on. The candle might've been very volatile so he didn't have enough time to react in order to place the order. He might've been expecting lots of buying pressure because of the strong momentum candle, and was trying to make the trade for a better deal. Hope I answered your questions thoroughly

is this another way of talking about key areas of support/resistance or price reaction. don't most ppl also draw these areas with boxes or 2 lines? was there a specific/special tip he mentioned that I missed? his confirmation and retest also seems to be the common way. his forecast also seems like the basic technical analysis way, which is no forecast, just wait for price to show you. and imo, when he said he can have no trades for an entire week, despite looking at multiple pairs, that is just shockingly way too few trading opportunities despite using intraday timeframes. i've seen 2 or 3 guests here so far, so i'll ask again: is there any guest that doesn't just use lines/levels/areas that i can learn from? thank you very much.
