Sunless, the best thing about this video is how you talked about getting your head to understand that losing is part of learning. I've been struggling lately with losing in Rocket League. In reality I'm probably winning 50% of the time, but I seem to only remember, and dwell on the losses. When I was a silver 1, I had a flat mate who was a high diamond/low champ. We would play 1v1 over and over and over again. He must have beaten me well over 100 times before I finally won a game. To start with, it was a win if he scored single digits, then if I scored a goal, then a one goal game… I loved it because I could feel myself getting better and better every day.

To put it into perspective, how many 100 consecutive wins are: Assuming Musty has a 99% chance at winning each individual match, the chance of him winning all of them is 99%^100 ~ 36.6%, meaning that Sunless has ~ 63.4% chance of winning at least one If Musty has a 99.9% chance of winning each match, Sunless still has a ~ 9.5% chance of winning at least one For Sunless to have less than a 1% chance overall, Musty must have a 99.99% chance on each match Of course, all this stands on the assumption that they play with the exact same quality each game (no improvement, nor tiring, etc) It's not entirely obvious to tell in theory whose chances improve over time, as being a way better player would allow one to notice mistakes in the opponent's play easier, but I'd say that at least at the beginning the gap should shrink as there is not much to improve for the better player, and based on the video it seems that the more time goes by, the gap keeps shrinking as the players get used to each other. If that's true, then it's an immense probability improvement on Sunless' side. Overall I'd say Sunless would probably have been able to win a couple more matches had he been able to keep his cool all the way without forfeiting at all And it also shows how ridiculously OP Musty is
