I missed your livestream but I wanted to ask if you ever confirmed that in Michigan, if we don't have their suggested liability coverage of $250,000 / $500,000 that our license could be taken away if we're at fault in an accident. I did some reading, and my understanding is that the lawyers who might sue could request that the state would revoke a driver's license. After listening to you talk about the property tax refund in Michigan, you confirmed that we live in a really crazy place 😅

Most states can revoke a license if a person drives uninsured or is in an uninsured accident and there is a resulting judgment for damages. But of you had insurance but not enough and there is a judgment for damages in excess of the insurance coverage it would not effect your license. However it appears that Michigan can revoke a license if there is a judgment and insufficient insurance with which to pay the judgment. All that is pretty unlikely but of course possible. However such a judgments could be eliminated through bankruptcy and the a drivers license thus could be restored. Eric HELPS
