The funniest post-game reaction was the Michigan fans complaining about MSU "running up the score." That, of course, is what Michigan has done for a hundred years whenever possible. And that Wolverine offensive coordinator practically had an out of body experience celebrating that meaningless 4th quarter Wolverine touchdown. That, combined with Joe Bolden's stupidity, made it clear that MSU would not take a knee at the end of the game. Notable that MSU did not attempt of pass on that final drive. Michigan fanboys' whining made it all even more delicious.

BTW, UM fans - this is OK but you're not really our rival. We care more about OSU than you guys... NOT! how does it feel to be totally disrespected like that? Because the truth is that you are likely to be no more than a speed bump in our pursuit of the National Championship, but OSU is a very real threat. You beat up on the little "Michigan Agricultural College", and the "Michigan State College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences" until 1950. As a Big Ten University, you played a little unaffiliated college most of those years. Since we came to the Big Ten in 1950, UM has won approximately 54%, Lost 43%, and Tied 3%. Your record against Big Ten rival Michigan State University has not been so dominant as you'd like to think. You're just over 500 - historically, you're barely bowl eligible against us.

As a Spartan fan, I can't begin to take as firm a stance as you, since you have beaten them 16 out of the last 20 years, but remember - they beat you 14 of the previous 20 years. So no team should get too cocky - these things seem to come in waves. MSU pounded the crap out of them for about 20 years until Bo came around, then the tables turned. Lately, it looks like they may have turned again, but I'll be cautious. Still, even during our down years, I never saw OSU fans being as arrogant and nasty to us (or even close) as UM fans (and ND fans) are during our good years. So my great hope is for at least a decade or two when the real championship is decided between Scarlett and Grey, and Green and White. Preferably with Green winning most of the time :-)
