Hello McCoy, great long UP freight train, and an unusual filming location. The second UP freight train was also a beautiful long freight train. That is a very interesting house and certainly old. Thank you for your video, I hope you have a great time and best wishes Wolfgang

I passed through here in 2010 because we stopped by the tower. Sadly my friend insisted we get moving so I never got to see the wall. Would you know by chance when it was built and also if it was ever double track? Any information you would have would be appreciated. Thanks for including the pictures of the old capitol as it's a building one doesn't think of too often. There's a few of us who really feel the good stuff of Illinois and Indiana is in the bottom third but gets overlooked with no big towns and the below average Economic base. There are those of us here in Milwaukee that sense even if Pete Rose had apologized to Bud Selig he still would have turned him down as he was rather cold-hearted. And yet another year of the Brewers stuck in neutral in the playoff season. Here's to the lines that seem forgotten but your hustle is appreciated

Thanks so much for watching Paul, I believe the Penn was a double track many years ago in Vandalia under bridge! That IC PENN diamond that IC ran from Galena IL to Cario and it must have ran beyond that say like into KY TN and MS but I'm 100% percent sure this mural said Mississippi route. Sorry to hear about your Brewers, got a friend who is a big Met fan lol! I love all these old towns seems like all of them have something special! From what i was told IC abandoned the tracks in 81 and now is owned my Pioneeer Railway group and there is an old Cotton Belt Hopper car in town on the abandoned line. Pete Rose was a true legend but he took to long to confess! Thanks for watching and all the support my friend!! Stay connected!

The Vandalia Line was a subsidiary of the PRR that connected the east coast cities of New York, Philadelphia, and Baltimore to St. Louis. The line was double-tracked for much of its length and served the coal region of southern Illinois.

@@mccoy79productions66 thanks for the info. All those main lines vying for traffic in the day. We used to have three main lines from Milwaukee to Green Bay and all of them are now severed somewhere so you have to use the old SOO Line main up to Neenah then finally curve over to Green Bay

A diesel horn does nothing to make me move. A steam engine's whistle is enough to make me leg it like the wind, to the top of a footbridge.
@mccoy79productions66Ай бұрын
Very Thanks you for the kind support, one day I'll grant your wish is a steam engine, stay tuned my freind!
