Hi Ginika Mgbenka, I've already answered this question. No,this is NOT a graphing calculator. However you can generate coordinates for graphing(x,y) on this calculator by evaluating suitable function in mode 7,TABLE mode. Then use those points to graph the function on paper. Noriel Hernandez Don't go with any MS calc,they aren't good. Among ES versions, 991ES and 570ES are almost equal. But I'd suggest to go with the 991ES plus version(or the 115ES plus,whichever is available). They're the best.

Well this being a calculator,can work only on numeric values. If that's a function based on a given expression having numeric variables(may have log,trig,root),you can solve that on fx991es. But if you want to solve that theoretically,just they appear on textbooks,the calculator can't do that. You may have to use some pc aps like algebrator etc. Though I haven't used that myself.

Hi there! I have a fx991ES PLUS. Unfortunately, the zeroes are quite ugly (they look like 'O's). I'm already in Linear input mode. I know that's a minor issue, but I use my calculator a whole lot and I would like to know whether there's a way to have the digits displayed like yours (:

Yes,u can findout the value of expressions,but not as function of f(x1,x2). You can frame your own expression in mode1 COMP mode. You can use A,B,C,D,X & Y as variables. For ur question,you can type- X=A+B-A^2-B^2 and press CALC to evaluate. Now enter desired values of A & B and find X. Also you can evaluate for a particular variable. Example,to solve for B,type- X=A+B-A^2-B^2,B and press CALC+SOLVE, enter values of X,A it'l find for what value of B the expression is true.

How fast it can calculate summation same as 0:25 but from 1 to 1000 and X^2? My Casio fx-4800p display result of 333833500 but it take few sec, if you can measure it with stopwatch please.

My fx-991ES takes 19 seconds to calculate summation of X^2 from 1 to 1000. How much time does your fx-4800p takes exactly to do the same? And do subscribe to my channel if not done yet :-)

Thanks bro... but you have shown the indipendent memory (wrong way) by calling 'M+ ' . Suppose you are going to store value on Independence memory calling 'M'. Ok now in the video you have shown you are storing the value on 'M+' which means the difference. when you have a value Stored on 'M' again you are trying to store a value on 'M' using M+ button. This is not the way to store value on 'M' a variable. It perform addition with the previous value.

Enter your expression as it is(guess you don't have any problem with entering expressions in calculator),to bring the = sign,press ALPHA+CALC buttons. To evaluate the expression,press SHIFT+CALC buttons,then = button below. It'll find the value of X for which the expression is true. For above expression,X= 6.94430. I hope this satisfies your query!

Very simple,very easy! You simply frame X=A^3+B^2,press SHIFT+CALC,enter A = 5,B = 6,so X=161. For next values, say A=50,B=60,press SHIFT+CALC again,and entering 50,60 will provide X=128600. Basically,you program it once,and use many times!

No Sujoy, I dont want to solve the function. Suppose there are 2 variables x,y and f(x,y) = x^3+y^2 For, x=5 , y=6 f(5,6) = ? how do I find x^3+y^3 for different values of x and y??

No,factoring is not possible on this calculator. But I can find the roots of quadratic or cubic equations in 5.EQN mode.

+jin Ali The calc finds summation of all the numbers between given range. For eg- Σ (x) from 1 to 5 is 1+2+3+4+5 =15. And your question is pre-assumed Un as a expression, which is not defined. I mean n and Un are not same. You've to define Un. For instance, say- Un = 2x+3. However I got below thing by googling. Given an arithmetic sequence with the first term a1 and the common difference d, the nth (or general) term is given by an= a1 + (n - 1)d. Here an is defined, and thus calculable. I hope I'm clear to you.

Indian-English... Don't get me wrong I'm not complaining or mocking or anything. I just wonder how can it be that I know hardly no Indian who can speak English without very strong Indian accent. In most cases it's way worse than this and it takes time to get used to and it's still painful to try to understand. I guess maybe there should be non-Indian English teachers in India..?

And about me,I belong to Bengali region,and Bengalis are a little accent prone. And ultimately it's not the accent,the quality & content your teacher gives you matters,isn't it? By the way,apart from the accent,any other scope u want me to improve in?

I deal with Indian accent almost every day at work and I can say it's usually ten times more horrible accent than yours. Horrible means hard to understand which draws focus from the main subject. Mostly Indian people should speak slower and pay attention to pronouncing t and th. One two three, not one do tree. Anyway, quality & content always over language, here too.
