Tank you arnel for your lesson it's help me a lot. I got 8 out of 10. Here some of my practice: Today I feel exhausted, and I can't focus. I'm at the end of my tether because I don't have someone to practice my english with. So, yesterday, I scraped the barrel; I decided to go to the city and find some tourists to speak with them. (If I want to go to the city, I have to travel 5 km on my bike and 20 km on the bus.) Finally when I went there and I after I Hung out around 4 house; I met a group of tourists. Even I knew it's against the law here in my country and I can be arrested if I talk to them. I toke the chance and I talked to them. After we talked for a half hour; we were walking when we met a guide, and he asked them if they need a guide, but they said "no." Then he told me to leave them alone, or he was going to tell the police. I told him the truth: I just wanted to practice my english. He laughed at me. I was indignant, but I didn't stoope to his level. This is my truth story. so, please give me the benefit of the doubt and don't take it with a grain of salt.

Pura vida Arnel! 🌴🌴You really went directly the point I needed with those very useful idioms. My score was 9 out of 10. I thought “She has certainly gotten ahead of herself” might work because she thought everything would be perfect hosting Christmas dinner. These are my examples: I haven’t gotten more clients at my job because I don’t want to bit off more than I can chew. Also, I’m against of cutting corner. I believe the client deserves a high quality service so I have been many times at the end of my tether assisting them out of business hours. Fortunately, my company lent me a hand by adding new people to my account.
@ArnelsEverydayEnglish

Oh yes, "get ahead of oneself" could work there! Great examples Kattia! *..against cutting corners (after "against" we don't have a preposition - your favorite, I know ;) ;)

LOL. Good job Teacher. To be honest, I got 10, but it was made by a method to the madness (hint), discarding idioms so, finally, I did it. The easiest: "sleeping with the book under the pillow. and scraping the barrel, hardest to guess, get ahead of ourselves. Maybe, have you not revealed the answer I wouldn't have done it without mistakes.

The difference between those two tenses can definitely be confusing. Yes, I need to make a lesson on that topic specifically. Generally, the PPC is used with a duration and emphasizes a past to present connection: I've been waiting for over 1 hour. The PC only focuses on an action happening now: I'm waiting. OR, the PC focuses on a temporary situation: I'm living with my parents while my apartment gets repainted. I hope this helps! My lesson on all 12 tenses might also help you: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h5qamqCGett8abc :)

I'll clear up what that does this mean but for example let's imagine that you have to look up some materials for some KZbin channels to study a hard subject let's say chemistry and you Haven't found any good channels but you have only found one channel that it explains the subject fully but the content explanation really sucks but on the other hand you don't have any choice so in this case you have to( choose the inferior option )of watching this channel to study although it's not a good channel but you don't have another possible choice since you haven't found a good channel witch is (good or better option) to study from so the situation in witch you have to choose the inferior option ls of doing a certain thing because you have no good or better choices to use instead then you scrap the barrel by doing so ,sorry for my long comment I hope you undrstood and if you didn't then I'm really sorry
