Some extra combos: Her dash or ⬆️ triangle I don’t remember how it’s called but anyway if u do it mid air it does slightly more dmg and then follow up w ult lvl 8 it does like 8k, 1 more combo while in surge u can literally spam ur skill and it does crazy dmg like u start w a dash, 1 light attack and then her skill, repeat that 3-4 times and then apply the poison it does 5k or so Ps: I’m still new to the game and idk if those combos are optimal or not I just made them randomly

Awesome thanks for the info and hopefully people will see your comment and use that. Glad to see new players coming to the game though and my advice is don’t worry about whether your combos are optimal or not. Just do the combos you think look fun to use and the ones you think you enjoy most. That extra hundred damage or so will be meaningless if you have good combos and are good at the game. It won’t matter which person is using optimal combos because if you’re better or more skilled then your opponent in a fighting game you will win regardless of who is doing more damage in there combos. Getting combos that you never drop and like to use are better than a optimal combo to me but it’s totally up to you how you want to play

Awesome brother I’m glad to hear it. You can go to the 2nd tab in the practice menu and it will let out set your ultimate gauge to always fill and it will refill everytime you use your ult

Yea most of them can be done the same with school Shinobu. The only difference between the regular and school version is her ultimate. The school version doesn’t reach as far but activates faster. As long as it’s not to far the ultimate should connect the same

Not that I know of right now since the game is still so new. Everyone is trying to find out new combo routes for the all the characters and the free demons just released too so there is a lot going on with Demon Slayer right now. My combo videos are just meant to be a frame of reference for you to see how to connect ultimates with other moves or combos and so you can see the routes I take and make your own combos off of mine. You can definitely use mine too I’m just saying they are just meant to be a base for everyone to see new ways to connect all there moves in new different ways

@@everetnis6914 play through the story mode first to get a feel for the game and for the cutscenes bro. They all look amazing and it teaches you a little of how to play as you go too. You don’t have to finish the story mode if you get burnt out but it will definitely help you get a feel for how the game is played. Online right now is kinda crazy so I would stick with offline till you think you’re ready and have a good team picked with some combos you have mastered

whats the difference between the academy version and the normal one, which one is better?

They are pretty similar there ultimates are different and how they start up is different. Like Shinobu’s ultimate has a different range depending on which character you are using. The academy version doesn’t have as much reach on start up but can connect easy with things the regular ultimate can’t. Other then that they are the same with the same moves and abilities

Same she takes so much damage and does so little. They should at least make her do similar damage as akaza or something since they both have about the same speed and defense but Shinobu’s attack is less for some reason

Its sad shinobu uses all of her damn stamina just to do damage equal to 1 or 2 attacks of rengoku

Yea it sucks you have to do 4 or 5 combos to kill someone but when you mess up just one time most of the characters will just take 75% of your health because she has no defense either. When you mess up you basically will lose that round but your opponent can mess up multiple times and still be it’s a little unbalanced

No but it helps if they are because her grab is fast but has short range. You can only use they grab on people who recover quick because they are mashing that button to get up. It works pretty often because they will block on wake up or attack and you will grab them first every time

@@benben7667 yea pretty much. Almost every character has a grab that can be connected after a special but Shinobu doesn’t have a way to end her combos with a grab with out a assist so I just made a combo that would allow her to use her poison and a grab as a mix up instead

Yea she isn’t a heavy hitter but she has some decent combos that work good with the poison. She is more for movement and speed because her dash is crazy fast and the quickest in the game and she can float when she does a air dash

Honestly I can’t really explain but I do know it starts with a up air attack and her specials going down then reset it and attack normally so u can atleast get some of her total concentration back then use tanjiro support then redo that I swear it works
