First it's water and lava, not fire. And second, in the real world, water and lava do not make obsidian. When lava and water meet, the former breaks up into the water and no combination occurs. In minecraft it is made just for fun. Мany of the elements in the game also did not match together in reality, and Minecraft made it to be more interesting. Steam is water in a gaseous state. There is no fire here. Dust is earth in millions of tiny pieces. There is no air here. You're on the wrong track.
@OjaZackaris
@OjaZackaris 9 ай бұрын
@@georgebrankov2143 One of the ways obsidian is literally formed in real life from lava falling into water and being cooled rapidly. I wasn't going for complete combinations, I was going for things created from the 2 reacting to each other. Also they are fire people, not lava people, Hence them being snuffed out by water instead of solidified. As for the dust I was imagining a dust cloud. But either way I was just trying to have fun commenting about possible combinations for a fantasy movie. There was no need for the 🤓'um actually' vibes. I'm not on the wrong track, I'm just looking at it from a different viewpoint than you.

I didn’t know much about the movie going into it, but I was super impressed. I really loved it. Wade and Ember probably have the healthiest fictional relationship I have ever seen! No I am not exaggerating, it was very impressive, and it made this show very fun to watch! I was actually sad when the show ended because I felt like there were so many possibilities left to explore. Wade possibly my new favorite fictional character, he is a very authentic character who is very emotional and very empathetic, and he openly embraces this, and uses these traits to improve the world around him. Ember watches as Wade uses his empathy for other characters to change outcomes for the better and she realizes this is very impressive about him. Wade is also very supportive, attentive and encouraging to Ember while she is nervous and trying new things. Their relationship grows as they solve problems together, listen to each other, and encourage one another’s talents. Hey also both gain more emotional control as they spend more time together. I loved watching them spend time together because they liked being together even though they didn’t even know how to do things together, but they figured it out as they went. I think my favorite scene is when Ember visits Wade’s family’s house that is full of water, and without saying anything he figures out a way for her to get around without getting wet, and without saying anything she accepts his help and bravely makes it work.

Wade is the standard. So I agree, you don't often get to see the male lead just embracing his emotions, being genuinely nice, caring and understanding. The problem is that there is no real ground for a sequel,unless you want tasteless writing and most likely a copy of the first one. Sure they might make someone good but 8/10 a sequel is dogwater and was never nedeed. The idea of a sequel because you go attached to the characters but at that point,I would say if you want a sequel go to ao3 because I'm sure someone is already writing a fic that is just want you need

Disney deserves the hate they are receiving, every bit of it. Also, this is tiresome to retread old ground about the "taboo" of mixed race relationships. The Jeffersons which was produced between 1975 and 1985 had Tom and Ellen Willis who was a biracial couple. That was more than 45 YEARS ago. Nobody has cared, ONE IOTA about mixed race couples since the late 1980s, and those were holdovers with 9 toes in the grave. Hey Disney, make an anti-war film, we've been in SEVEN of them in the last 2 decades, and 99.9% of Americans can't even name those wars. There's an ACTUAL issue, you know, that our government goes to war and doesn't even bother to inform the public they have started yet ANOTHER WAR?

I didn't think Elemental would be a good movie based on the trailer. It looked quite plain and just another "couple aren't supposed to be together, but the get together" type movie. But I got bored one night and decided to watch it, and it honestly surprised me. Its mature, have a lot deeper themes than I expected and it got lots of just simply beautiful animation and settings. Wade started out as a kinda annoying bawling guy, and it reflects how Ember sees him at first too. But as we get to know the characters, they get more and more depth and how they are portrayed change. I'd say I like the way Ember and Wade meet better than in the trailer. Its a lot more dynamic to the story and creates a lot of contrast to how they are at the end
@piereandreturner2818
@piereandreturner2818 7 ай бұрын
It is quite a good movie. From what I understand, the first week of its release at the theater was very weak, but it immediately made a comeback with the global release, which was 490 million, quite decent but not a huge success when you consider the theater fees, promotional budget, and some additional costs against the 200 million budget. But after it was released on Disney+, I heard Elemental suddenly explode in viewership on that platform, surpassing expectations. The reason movie critics called it a sleeper hit is less about its comeback at theaters globally but largely due to its performance on the Disney+ platform. I just thought it was quite an interesting story for Pixar. Most movie critics also blamed the film's bad performance at the theater on the timing of its release and bad promotion from both Disney and Pixar.
@katrinepedersen9660
@katrinepedersen9660 7 ай бұрын
@@piereandreturner2818Yea, they missed the mark a bit when it came to promoting. It's a nice film, but I don't think they really got to show that in the promotional material and trailers. So people aren't going to spend time and money on watching a movie they're not sure about at the cinema. But they're more likely to watch it at home. It's a lot less commitment to something you don't know if you'll enjoy after all

The date was my favorite part!! I’m glad they ended up executing it the way they did bc it demonstrated how the world wasn’t built for fire ppl, n wade got to understand Ember better as a result of it. If it was a typical date like they initially planned, it would’ve detracted from the main story line n been too cliche.

Wasn’t their honeymoon, it was her art internship. Wade could of course accompany her because he doesn’t HAVE to work… Though I do hope he finds his place as well. I think he’d make a good therapist perhaps? He’s so empathetic, draws people in… But I suppose it wouldn’t do to cry along with your patients… 😂 Anyway, he’s doing a great job right now just supporting Ember and being there to help balance her out. Of course we wonder about children! Would love to see it! Not saying I am asking for a sequel (I would actually prefer they didn’t as it was ended well and the story that needed telling was told beautifully) but maybe a short or two could give us that little bit more…

Just watched the movie and honestly I agree with the producers, the movie was better (perfect even) without those scenes, wades with some parts missing would be weird, I don’t mind if ember wore a dress or a hoodie like in the trailer but that scene with the touching hands at the train was awful: extremely cliche and would reinforce the idea that elements hurt each other (same with the ice and fire popcorn), I would have liked to see a steam child at the end but I agree that it will be even better if they put it in a sequel, I think that the movie was better without scene of the walk in the part because the scene of them seeing the tree underwater already fulfilled that role and the scene of ember with the crystals and wade with the rainbow shows a bit of each element specialness, reinforcing how they are “different in a good way”, overall I think the movie was better the way they released without these scenes

This movie was so beautiful! 🥹❤️🔥💧 It's such a shame we didn't get a post credit scene that reveals ember and wade's kid! But hey! I'm really hoping for pixar to give it a sequel, and if they do, I think that's a good time for them to introduce mixed elements! 😃 (and ember and wade's child being the main focus).

Elemental is great, I think the movie had a mature love story and showed how they slowly fell in love.

During the movie, i was thinking Wade and Ember were gonna run the shop orrrrr have more of a restauranty-type thing going on because the scene where he waters down the fire food. I'm interested in what direction they take Wade in because he said he didnt feel like he fit in anywhere in terms of a career. Maybe we will get to see them in the new area where the internship is for Ember and meet new mixed elementals? This could be a plot point on how other elementals may make fun of mixed ones. :( but it would be great material to tackle! I would love to see more of these two and see where Ember and Wade both end up in their passions ☺️

So originally Ember wasn’t good at making glass sculptures but later changed it that she infact has a natural talent at it that she didn’t think much of before Wade and his family pointed how how good she was at it.

I never watched the trailers but saw photos and knew some people talking about it. I wanted to give the movie a 100% watch with no real preknowledge of it. I wasn't disappointed. Its an amazing movie that made me cry at the end with The Big Bow. Respect is everything to me.

I think it's better that Ember and Wade met in stranger situation than just meeting at the bus. I guess this is more relatable because we meet people often in weird and unexpected situations and the case from the trailer seems to be ummmm, more like a fairytale?

It would be cool if they dont have kids either. Cause not everyone can have them. Or adoption is an option they could definitely express either way to spread awareness.
