Talia al Ghul That iconic sword scene is one of the many reasons why no one will ever be able to convince me that Temple of Doom is a prequel. Because the scene in Temple, in which Indy tried to pull his gun only to realize it wasn’t in his holster, was a callback to Raiders. “But the title cards at the start-“ I don’t care! I stand by my theory that George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg’s crew accidentally put the wrong date on Temple and, rather than admit the mistake, they just began passing it off as a prequel! Um...... Sorry. I was having way too much fun debunking this in the comments of Rob Walker’s FanScription video on Channel Awesome. 💚😂😂💚

A very iconic film that still holds up in todays filims. On a side note I watched the the remake Minty referred to. It is quite impressive considering that much of the movie was on a shoestring budget (If it even had a budget at all). The airfield scene was the last to be filmed for the remake. story has it that Spielberg was told of the project and was impressed enough with footage, he arranged to have the actual plane used in Raiders for the remake. I believe it is available on youtube to view.

I still remember seeing this classic in the theatre when I was a kid. I used to have several issues of the Indiana Jones comic books. Great stuff I even played the Atari game as well. Graphics weren't great but it was a challenging adventure

Fun (and well known) fact: The call letters on Jock's biplane are "OB-CPO", a reference to Lucas' Star Wars characters Obi Wan Kenobi and C-3PO.
