I saw two trees in the first one, Matilda's, that I've never seen before...are they an actual tree you grow or are they an item tree you place down? I thought maybe a stand with a print on it but I could see the waterfall behind it. Thank you for your help in figuring this out bc they are so cute and I want them so I've gotta figure out what they are exactly.

the only item tree I see is the "pine tree"! The other, actual trees, are bamboo, palm, and hardwood trees ^^

Pretty sure you're talking about the Pine Tree, which appears in daily nook shopping occasionally as a special item I think? You don't need the DLC for it, but having the DLC can make it easier to get.

they're custom design dresses! Someone made the sleeveless dress (?) and made it look like those birds ^^ This is also done for a lot of animals and such
