I’ve worked on many of those subaru engines. They’re a good choice for a dredge because they’re so light, compact, and easy to find, especially in Alaska. They’re like our state car. Lol. That whole camp just looks awesome!

Hey Bryan, several years ago, on the Rogue River in Oregon... A friend of mine got a visit from the authorities while dredging.... They told him he needed to reduce his nozzle size by at least two inches, so.... he did.... down to 16 inches!!!!!! LMAO!!! Can you imagine running an 18 inch nozzle??? Can you imagine getting sucked up your hose, and actually becoming a plug-up, while your tender is beating the crap out of ya with the pluggin' pole!!??

Do you do any smelting? I keep telling MBMMLLC that he needs to make a wood gas powerd processing truck. You'd be able to stay on site without being limited by how much fuel you can carry in. All well established technology to fuel any IC engine. The more primitive the engine, the better. It will fuel a forge too.
