you can also put the metal tray the other way around so the border stops pens from rolling off

KZbin suggested this video to me and honestly thank god, that paint tube idea in particular is so big brained. I like to try different brands of paint and when they come in different sizes of those little plastic trays, it's hard to fit them all in one drawer, so a lot of them are just loose and I don't even know what's going on.

That art hack with the paint tubes I also use. I even use those clips for all my paint in tubes, in that way I can use as many paint in the tube by rolling it up! Thanks for all the tips !

Megan Weller i use bigger clips (the same as the small ones) to put on my plastic tubes of 120 ml Acrylic Paint. It’s easier to get more paint, & easier to store almost empty tubes

I like to see my art supplies when possible. If they are in eyeshot I use them much more. When they are in a draw I sometimes forget what I have. Great idea's TYFS

you can substitute rubber cement for candle wax it basically does almost the same. Or if your using color pencils and want to preserve spots to stay white then you can use oil pastels!. Just draw whatever you want on paper with a white oil pastel and then color over it with color pencils
