I was actually terrified that they would do some sort of romantic plot point with noodle, especially at the balloon scene. The sigh of relief i had once the movie was officially over.

It's a pretty common headcanon in the Gravity Falls fandom, but Ford Pines really does feel like he's great aromantic representation, if not fully aroace. he literally says in the physical journal 3 that romance is baffling to him and he never really shows much of an interest in anything other than his research. i love that headcanon for him.

I headcanon Ford as autistic. And I also heacanon that he has an aversion to most types of touches (due to his autism and how he is asexual). (For example, he prefers high fives over hugs.)

I headcanon Zane from Ninjago as AroAce and I see him and Pixel as being best friends because he never shows any real genuine, romantic, or sexual attraction/ interest, in all 17 seasons of the show! PS He's also a robot/nindroid. Happy pride month!🖤💜🤍💚

Fun Fact! Perry the Platypus is confirmed Asexual! Someone once asked Dan Povinmire, "is Perry LGBT+?" And Dan replied with, "Does Asexual count?" Which makes so much sense for Perry and I absolutely love it!

Charlotte Lucas! Aromatic icon! I’ve always thought, for everything that’s fucked up about the world we live in now, at least Charlotte would never have to marry Mister Collins, in my mind she’s got a fantastic career as a programmer and a ton of great extremely intellectually focused friendships.

As someone who is Greyromantic Asexual, this video made me very happy. One headcanon I kinda wish showed up is Donnie from the TMNT franchise, more specifically I'm talking about the Donnie from "Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles". Rise!Donnie gives me big-time Biromantic Asexual vibes, and it also kinda helps that he is canonically Autistic. While I am completely aware that is not always the case, people that fall under the Neurodivergent umbrella (Autism, ADHD, ect.) due tend to be on the Aro/Ace Spectrums as well (this is coming from someone who has Inattentive-type ADHD).

During my childhood I often head cannoned Velma from every Scooby Doo series to be an aroace character cause I always felt that she was a character who was never into relationships and only loves to solve mysteries with the mystery gang

These are honestly some pretty cool headcanons, especially Phineas and Twilight Sparkle being aros. And I'm saying this as someone who's ace and is a major fan of the PnF and Mlp. Though I do wanna point out that with the Mane 6 paired up in the future, it's more up for speculation. While they allude to Fluttercord, Appledash, and Cheesiepie, only Cheesiepie is technically canon. As one of the writers on fim confirmed that with Appledash and Fluttercord, it's up to the viewers to decide if they're canon or not. Not saying this as a complaint. I'm more just saying this as someone who is incredibly knowledgeful on the show and it's fandom to the point where I can notice little notes to give on discussions like this. It's just something I know too well. Still, while I personally headcanon Twi as bisexual biromantic, it totally makes sense as to why some would headcanon her somewhere in the ace/aro spectrum considering how he doesn't exactly get romance cues and such too often. And with Phineas... yeah, that boy's obliviousness to love could come off as him being in the ace/aro spectrum, him having ADHD, or my fav option... both. It just makes complete sense if you ask me. Overall, this is an interesting video and I really think a lot of these headcanons make sense. I more just talked about Mlp and PnF since I know both of these shows practically by heart... mainly Mlp since it's my primary special interest and it's kinda my job to talk about it a lot.

@@lightfurya2087 Again, even later on, he doesn't realize social cues or tone that often. Which is why I said the ADHD thing. Still though, I could see him in ace/aro spectrum cause it could even be like that for some ace/aros. Obviously, not everyone (and I know cause I could easily tell when someone crushes on), but plenty of aces and aros do.

Magik from New Mutants/X-Men. Superhero comics are part soap opera and any character with a decent amount of appearances tend get romantic plots, but not Magik.

Great video! I enjoyed hearing your takes on these characters! There was a time in high school where I started to wonder if I was asexual- to keep it PG-13 I simply wasn’t feeling the “awoogas” for any men LOL. Then suddenly on one random and normal day, in walks a guy I’ve gone to school with for years and have always found attractive. But something happened that day I guess and the awoogas kicked in and I had an awooga moment and was like “huh….” Then it kept happening suddenly on random occasions with anyone from waiters to TV characters and even to a few guy friends. So then I was like “HUH… well I guess that solves that question.” LOL. But yes, I was mayhaps an actual late bloomer in that regard and not an asexual person. However it lead me to do research in the meantime while I was waiting for the awoogas to hit and as a result I’ve formed a few headcanons of my own: Toph: AroAce. Yes, I know she has two daughters. But spectrum, ya know? Also they’re notably from two different fathers which makes me question how much she really cares about staying tied down. She’s fiercely independent and while you don’t have to be aroace to be independent or vice versa, I just feel like she’s the kind of person who enjoys a life where she can remain mostly untethered to it. Free to do what she pleases whenever she pleases. Gus from TOH: Ace. Dunno. Just vibes LOL. Raven from Teen Titans: Demisexual. She’s just waiting to get close to someone. And that someone is Beast Boy >:) Jinx from Arcane: AroAce. My girl has been through so much and has been so preoccupied talking to her own mind, you think she’s got room for relationships? My gal is way too self focused on her own insane goals to even consider that. Not to mention I think she was raised by Silco away or at least slightly guarded from people her age. It could’ve been a choice but I dunno. It doesn’t seem like she even talked to Ekko after things went south after episode 3. Amaya from TDP: Ace. She seems like a very romantic person but doesn’t give off non-ace vibes. Most of these headcanons are vibes lol. Hope my long comment was somewhat entertaining! :)

I definitely feel like most, if not all, dark side users in Star Wars are somewhere on the spectrum because they crave power more than a relationship with anyone, even their own apprentices in most csses. There are people like Valkorion who end up with a wife and kids, although that's only after he conquered most of the known galaxy and over 1400 years of life. The Old Republic isn't considered canon, though.

Wayne from Total Drama. Someone once headcanon him as Aroace but loves pairing up his friends with their soulmates and…yes. He shows no attraction to anyone outside of platonically or like a sibling(he even freaked out when he thought Julia wanted to marry him) while being incredibly supportive of his best friend being gay and finding a boyfriend despite coming from a homophobic part of Canada. He also shown to be incredibly happy Caleb and Priya get together, but he himself never shows attraction in either season he’s in despite his bleeding heart. The show was finally allowed to have a gay couple with Bowie and Raj, and Owen is Bi, so why not have Wayne be Aroace? There’s other TD characters I headcanon as LGBT and others like Thad from Murder Drones I can see as Ace, but Wayne forever my biggest Ace or aro headcanon. We need more Ace rep!(fellow Ace)

Jo March in Little Women 2019 made me weep from how relatable she was to my aroace ass. Regardless of the intention of the character, if folks who are gay can have comfort characters who weren't intended to be gay, then I can have comfort characters unintended to be aroace.

I personally headcanon Parker from Leverage as demiromantic and sex-neutral asexual, and the way her relationship with Hardison is handled (and how he treats her in the show) I think is done really well and hints to this

don't know most of characters in this video, but it was still super nice hearing you talk about the ones i don't know :] i don't see alot of aroace discussions on yt (or in general really) outside of good or bad rep and the exclusion of us, so having a short, just-for-fun video like this was a REALLY nice breath of fresh air ! and, of course, i will take any opportunity to ramble about my own hcs. this one is gonna be long LMAO to start with for my perspective- i am solidly aroace (sex repulsed, romance positive) and currently in an open relationship, so that's where i'm coming from for these :3 now for actual hcs a more popular one i quite agree with is Sonic the Hedgehog - and Shadow - being aroace. i don't think i need to explain this one lol- but as i said on tumblr once, Sonic and Shadow are both aroace and in love. that is all Blitzo from Helluva Boss is a character i quite like as aromantic, but still keeping him as pansexual. he has alot of relationship experience, but always backs out once it stops being just about sex. in canon, this is because of his fear of intimacy stemming from his low self-esteem. to me, this is because he doesn't know he's aro and panics when the other party expresses romantic interest that he just...doesn't understand. he's romance positive and wants to love and be loved, but when he doesn't feel anything for romance like he does for sexual or platonic interactions, he panics and flees the situation. idk i just think it's a fun concept Hollyleaf from Warriors is also a big one for me in the sense of her being asexual. in one of the books, i think Dark River, there's a scene with her as a teenager that always stuck with me. she talks to one of her friends and the conversation ends with her wondering if her peers expect her to have children purely because she's female, and worries that'll be something she HAS to do even though she doesn't want too. she goes and talks to her mom about it, and is met with the sickeningly familiar response of "you're too young to know, you'll change your mind eventually.". that along with her in general as a character has always had me view her as ace :] Kiwi/The Bard from Wandersong also stands out to me as either aroace or demi/demi. the whole story of Wandersong is about people deserving to live and love and heal, and the love part is strictly platonic throughout the entire game. in fact, i don't think there are any significant romantic relationships in the game, though i may be remembering wrong. Kiwi connects with people so quickly where i feel like they value platonic relationships to such a high degree that romance or sex just...aren't something they consider. maybe atleast until they're *really* close with someone, but either way works can't think of any more right now but meh, comment's long enough already lmao. hope these were fun to read about :3

Even though the website says otherwise, I see aroace Hollyleaf and Fallen Leaves as being really good platonic friends and if they were humans they’d probably only get married for tax benefits or something. I also like to imagine Firestar as being on the aromantic spectrum because he doesn’t start feeling anything romantic towards Sandstorm until they’re friends and Cinderpelt tells him that she likes him. As for Spottedleaf, I imagined the attraction there being more sexual than romantic in nature.

Ace Rrazer was not a headcanon I expected to see but as and AyaRazer shipper who wants more Razer content, I love that. It works so well. Not only is his love so deep that seeing Aya harmed induces a rage capable of functioning in the presence of a blue lantern, but he is seen going off on a quest searching for her and is really only seen with her (or his dead wife). I have rewatched that series so many times and Razer is my favorite character from it. :)

If anyone reads Wings of Fire, I headcanon Wren as aroace. Like Undauntable falling in love with her made her extremely uncomfortable, (that doesnt necessarily make her aro but still) and she'd happily just live with her dragon forever. Also Violet, because while both of her friends are kind of boy crazy the whole book (especially Daffodil lmao) and she just rolls her eyes at it, + also shes been told by Daffodil (in a joking manner) that she doesnt even understand love so.. and also she reminds me of my aroace friend but I had that headcanon before I met her so 🤷‍♂️

This might be a bit of a stretch of a head canon on my end but; Wile E Coyote from looney tunes has gone on record to be one of the only main characters that has never been shown with even a nameless female character. Even out of the male characters he interacts with, the only one that he has ‘flirty’ relationship with is Bugs Bunny so I like to see him as asexual and grey romantic! Also I believe Jessica Rabbit was confirmed behind the scenes by her head character designer as ace!!

I sometimes HC myself to be on the ace-spec, yet identifying as Pansexual, I know that I am Panromantic for sure, once I described my attraction underneath a comment section, and someone told me that I described being Panromantic whether than pansexual, and even one person said (because I was hinting at possibly being on ace-spec, and theorising that I might be Demi of some kind because I find it easier to have the feelings of sexual attraction after a emotional bond has formed) that I could just be Panromantic Asexual, and I said that I wasn't, but maybe I just either have not accepted that or haven't realised yet, confusing romantic and sexual attraction, but I still for now Identify as Pansexual because I like that label, and plus I can feel sexual attraction but it depends on the circumstances, or the person that I am with/around. edit: Maybe I am confused because I can feel sexual attraction but not *always* comfortable with the idea of it sometimes. Note: I Know this is more speculation than HC related.

This is not to you just a small complaint about headcanons It feels like people don't always truly know what headcanon means like there will be a angel dust head a non and they headcanon him as bi when that's not a headcanon its just changing the character because its canon that he's gay if it wasn't canon they yeah him being bi would be a headcanon
