Lovely video Ann, I have used the glue method since I was 11 at art school and I am nearly 70 now, the point of mentioning that is the fact that my art tutor had us put the piece of sponge in a bulldog clip to give us more control….it also stops you getting your fingers in the glue. X
@caroleEvans20203 жыл бұрын
I do this as well with Poundshop make up sponges instead of using finger daubers for inking with distress inks.

Hi Ann - I'm making every card in this video, working as you explain the steps! One is more beautiful than the next one! I'm working now on the leaves cut out of vellum and glued to another piece of vellum and I got the bright idea to use my spray craft glue. It's working like a charm -- now to get the glue off my fingers and my "pinchers" -- Thank you again for such amazing card ideas!

A trick I discovered when embossing velum is if you tap your embossing buddy on the inside of your embossing folder before putting you velum in. The velum doesn’t crack or stick even with the 3D folders

So beautiful! I love vellum, but rarely use it because of the glue issue. The sponge technique has given me new hope.👍🏻 All the cards are fabulous, but my favorite is the die cut vellum leaves on top of vellum. Stunning. It reminds me of something, but I wasn't sure what. I'm thinking maybe "burnout fabric". Thank you for demonstrating these techniques.🤗
