I love your ideas. Here's a tip I learned recently, to prevent vellum from cracking in an embossing folder, insert a piece of cardstock behind the vellum in the embossing folder. This gives you two embossed images for the price of one.

Actually vellum has lots of uses as you have shown here but the problem has always been how to stick it down, unseen. It does crack which can be a buggar too. Your Solution of one piece of wide tape is a great idea and solution. My favorite I haven’t seen before is the mirror image card. Ummm that idea has lots of potential. Thanks for putting this vid together. Love your style!!!

Regarding your copic markers: pick your least favourite color and put in a few drops of the blending liquid to make it work again. (I would try 3 and go from there) I'm guessing the blending liquid is just a thinner for the inks.
@LaurelBeard3 жыл бұрын
Oh ok! I'll give that a try! :) Thanks.

I love these, very pretty, but I would personally finish off the edges of the cards with some ink or gilding wax. That way they look more cohesive. But ofcourse that's just my preference, it's no must. I loved the one with the roses the most I think. Got so confused why you would colour them green and the leaves brown.. But when you put it on the coloured background it just worked so beautifully!!

Laurel, the wolves card is definitely, hands-down my favorite! That is just soooo super cool how you did the reflection. I never thought to do ink blending on vellum, though. I'll have to give that a try. I was wondering, if you use something like Post-It tape stuck to your fingertips, if that would keep fingerprints out of the ink when you blend. Just a thought. Anyway, thank you for sharing. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)

Hello I have tuned you in before but tonight I must have gotten you on my u tube looking for an artist that I like. But I MUST SAY I AM YOU ALL THE WAYYYYY. I now think it has been a sicknesses but I have gotten soo much better. I don’t buy like I used to.. I can totally totally relate BIG TIME!. I don’t even have enough room anymore in my art room. It’s crazy.. although I do much more than cards. But still what you said is the BEST FRONTAL WAKE UP CALL. EVEN THOUGH YOU KNOW I ONLY PURCHASED THE SAME ITEM 1 time. Which I thought was great. But like you said how many birthdays yes your right .. thinking my birthdays are to old. So many clear / rubber why … I even joined Stampin up just to get my 20 percent off. And since I don’t know anybody that really is into it I wished it could even be like you overseas or were ever. It’s hard I teach myself through videos etc,, and that’s were my inspiration seems to stem from. Then I worry about myself cause why can’t I just do this without confidence and my mixed media ROCKS !! Even who is such a critic says there really good you should sell them . It really would be cool if I heard back from you,.

Hi, and thank you for the video...I've just started down the journey of embossing vellum, and trying to figure out how to get it on paper (without always having to use brads) has been a thorn in my side (to say the least). Would you be willing to show a video with the tape you are using with an embossed piece of vellum, that is "larger" than the width of the tape, and that is NOT colored in any way? I'm asking, because some of what I'm wanting to do is larger than the width of tape you are using, so I would need to add to the tape which is fine, I would just like to see it, if possible. Again, thanks for the video.

Why does no one else ink on glass and save so much product in the process ? I’m seeing so much ink setting into the scrap sheet that could be used and picked back up off a glass mat…. Waste not want not folks !! ((Beautiful card though love it! I love mixing and making my own embossing powder colors and textures))
