I love your channel. Even though some others are doing some very good farming channels, with yours, you one of the farmers that spends more time farming and not sitting there for ages talking to the camera. Some others that I'm not naming are entertaining but some of there videos have too many streaming videos answering questions when I prefer to watch the farming more that you show more of. I hope you continue making more farming videos for years to come.

Great day helping your neighbor baling hay. Also looks like you have some pretty dew, so you will have to wait longer to get baling again. I see also that you will have competition running the baler, from taxi driver to baler. Cleanup in the barn will make things easier and more productive. It's a good feeling when things work out for the better.

@ChroniclesofKayla2 жыл бұрын
I really like it - it has to be put up right though. It’s one of those if YOU think it’s dry enough to bale. Wait another day. It retains a lot of water !!!! Ours had to be made into Rounds (our friend came “bailed” us out while Jason wasn’t able to work for a while) - I’ll try to remember when I’m over today to show a Bale of the Teff. It’s still green inside - we have some older horses on it - that I’m not having to supplement grain with at all.

how much do you all get for a bale of hay?
@ChroniclesofKayla3 жыл бұрын
depends on the hay - small vs large. Grass vs alfalfa and what cut & quality it is. But on average smalls start at $5.00 - we aim for consistency year after year. Large squares are roughly 15 small squares and that’s how he bases pricing.
