At first I couldn't braid my hair at all, but I practised and practised until I eventually got it. And the more I do it, the less my arms hurt

Keep practicing! After a while you'll get used to it, your arms will hurt less and the braids will turn out neater. Try starting with something simple, like the ordinary three-strand braid. Then move on to more complicated styles. That's how it worked for me, anyways. Good luck! 👍

I love your tutorials and have made some great hairstyles on myself! You demonstrating doing it to yourself it’s so much better than people that do it on someone else or a fake head 😀 Two things: -If anyone is having trouble keeping hair separate for half up, clip away the hair you aren’t using underneath. -The two strand twisty braid is called a rope braid.

for anyone who may try out the French braid, I'd suggest brushing your hair out to make sure there is not any knots. When I tried, i had a couple small knots in my hair and after I brushed it out, it was much easier!☺

Basically, a Dutch braid is just a backwards French braid. The ‘lace braid’ is also known as a Dutch/French running braid. In case anyone was wondering. I’m gonna try these on horses tails, because I’m getting bored just doing the same old French/Dutch/fishtail braids, thanks for the video!
