Hair is made up of protein called "KERATIN". The assumption that keratin treatment helps with hairfall is WRONG. Keratin treatment mainly contain ingredients like methanol, formalin, methylene glycol, methanethiol. These ingredients when heated realease a harmful carcinogen called 'Formaldehyde' that has numerous side effects. Also high level of heat involved can cause significant damage to the hair. The treatment might make your hair look soft n shiny at the beginning but can have adverse effects on the hair. PS - I hope it helps.

This is the first time someone’s said this and I’d def like to do more research on this. this is what I’ve found out. “Keratin is a protein that is formed by the combination of eighteen different amino acids. It plays an important role in hair growth, hair regeneration, and overall hair health. Keratin is produced through the multiplication and differentiation of cells, which are present beneath the scalp skin layer” My personal experience has been beneficial but yes the process can be damaging with how much heat it uses altho personally I didn’t see any adverse effects on my hair.
