I actually have seen underwater TNT and torches added through a mod that adds sodium ore. Would be a really cool thing to have in vanilla. Edit: don’t know what the exact name of the mod is, but in the actual implementation they made resource blocks of sodium ingots explode underwater just like TNT. They also added “flint and sodium” which allowed you to ignite an amber flame underwater. The torch was similarly a bright yellow.

You're probably thinking of potassium, or one of the Alkali earth metals. Sodium is actually pretty close to salt, otherwise known as NaCl. Or Sodium Chloride (which doesn't explode in water either).

⁠​sodium metal does explode when it comes in contact with water! All the elements in that column (lithium, potassium, cesium etc) also react violently in an increasing way down the column. Sodium Chloride is stable due to the interactions between atoms and does not react, but the pure metal does react. Just goes to show how crazy the world is! You take an explosive metal and deadly liquid/gas, put ‘em together and get a delicious seasoning 😂

Minecraft education edition isn't even that educational, I remember seeing some video on it from some chemistry guy who pointed out why a lot of what you can do with the elements makes no sense.

As a student who has (or was) playing Minecraft Education Edition, the edition is pretty weird to be honest. Lile for starters, even though it is" Educational", it really isn't but also is, it's hard to describe but think someone is pushing you but with the less amount of effort but also with mote effort then most students. It takes lile a entirely for Education Edition to have the new major update, like from what I remember, it takes like 3 or 5 months for it to update. (Unless you have experimental on) There are 3 things that I remember in which you can't not access though the Bedrock settings, you need to hace Education Edition to have them, the first is a small grodem (hope I spell it right and can't remember of the thing) that is there to teach you code, and doing so, it can help you. The 2nd one is in which if am remembering correctly, Minecraft are using but you don't have access, that is the NPCs, the NPCs are Villager like creatures in which you can customize, mainly it's dialogue. And the 3rd one is which you have access, it's just not all, only a fraction of it, that is custom made maps for Education Edition, it's for educational purposes, you can access a few of them in the market place for free, lole for example the City one in which is about the environment. There are some more things but those were the major ones. (Sorry for misspellings and some things I got wrong, it's been like what 2 or 3 years since I play it) Edit: of everyone is wondering how to hace access to Education Edition, there are 2 ways I can think of and remember. 1, be a student and have a student account. And 2, whip out that credit card. Edit 2: there are videos of Education Edition on KZbin, it's not that hard to find most things that am referring to.

Hey toycat unfortunately this is only in the ACTUAL education edition, but they have a chalkboard and a camera which you COULD use to make big signs or the camera way better than map and I'm jealous that you can't have it on regular bedrock :(

Yes,you can't get trophies with it activated. Also, you can't get elements in survival

Are you talking about MinecraftEDU from TeacherGamimg? If so, then that was completely different to the current Education Edition. Firstly MinecraftEDU was based of Java Edition but Education Edition is based of Bedrock Edition.
