great to see bedrock launcher getting some attention

You should’ve actually got that achievement for Minecraft even if you were in 1.0. I was playing 1.8 and got the woodland mansion achievements and they actually saved to the xbox servers etc.

I played bedrock in first week it came out, it was hell💀

I remember thinking windows 10 edition was cool but now I’m still mad about them removing console edition for a version based on this. Also I guess I just think that because I only play bedrock on switch where it runs terribly, but with console edition having separate versions they would probably spend more time on making it work

i know how to get to even the most prehistoric versions of MC Bedrock Edition on my PC its free and easy to do but u need a real mc account i think

0.14.0 is not the oldest archived version of bedrock, it just the oldest version of bedrock that works in pc. If you get an android emulator you can play older versions. I use one to play 0.11.0 which is the version I started on

The better together update was just the first version of bedrock to be on console. You could play between pocket and Windows 10 before that.

How did you go back in time

My first version of Minecraft was Pocket Edition 0.6.1 alpha. Worlds weren't infinite yet, so I refunded the game thinking it wasn't the real Minecraft.

I loved the potato update. Joking aside I played minecraft way before bedrock came out in its earliest edition. I still remember being amazed at how successfull the game become, or also stuff like them adding the first other structures besides mob-spawners. I started playing at a potato laptop with render-distance induced fog barely a chunk or so away before strongholds or hunger. Those were the days. (^_^)

So is this going to be like your let's play world that gets updated or will it always be able to start new. I ask because I don't want to buy the map if it's going to have all of your builds in it. I don't mean that in a mean way I just want to do the building myself with the ultra flat resources.

I miss my furnace minecarts. Also, the older versions have slightly different colouring on the menus, which still looks better to me.

with one specific crack method, you can in fact use this launcher without owning the game.

I grew up with 0.15.4, I had some old galaxy a3 2016 and I loved that version so much

You say this is the oldest archived version of bedrock, though that isn’t *really* true… it’s the oldest version available via the launcher because older versions were only on phones. I know said older versions are still readily available on Android, just… not exactly legally…

wish this came with the old Pocket Edition versions as well. I have too many memories playing the "outcrop" seed on 0.8.1

Show Coordinates was added due to community complaints after the ability for resource packs to show coordinates was removed. Removing this functionality from resource packs generated a lot of debate over whether coordinates were cheating. Ultimately Mojang relented and officially added the feature to bedrock. and really seems like something few people now consider to be cheating

I think Minecraft Bedrock benefited from adding more customization, accessibility, and other technical fixes. However, I think Bedrock edition has its faults in my mind when it comes to “bettering” the look of Minecraft. The new gui and the texture overhaul weren’t necessary in my opinion (difference in ores is fair though for accessibility reasons). Also, it sucks that Bedrock on the pc doesn’t accept PS4 remote input when it literally has built in controller support and button mapping options. Least you can do this fairly easily on Java with the help of mods. I’d rather mod the game than tinker with the actual computer thank you very much.

I remember one of the console editions were the end was normal but the portal to the outer areas led you to a tiny single chunk spot with one small end city.

I never played an old version of bedrock on pc, but on an iPad. It was a lot of fun. Also, I like your voice, it reminds me of Stampy’s!

I mained bedrock on windows for a couple of years after watching you, but recently went back to java as they seemed to have fixed a bug where map-chests would lag out the game for upwards of a minute. Mainly because im playing old java challebeges (infdev -> modern) + i miss havign advancements that isn't tied to the account. I know the majority of people prefer account-wide achivements, but i personally can't stand it and as a result rarely play new games
