Thank you for a really helpful video ! However, I have a question for you. When someone says "bonne journée" to us how should we respond? In English we might say "you have a good day too." In France it sounds like people say "bonne journée à vous." Is this what you'd recommend ?

We have these in Romanian as well and I can say: they're too much. Better be polite with the elderly, but for the rest? Just use first person and drop the "please" SVP/STP etc. 👍🏻

Regarding the French 'r'. I recently noticed that the cawing of the crow, compared to the cawing of the rook, differs in that the crow pronounces the 'r' in French and the crow does not. I tried to translate it into French, but the translator gave me the same word for these birds?

Translator made errors: should be: french-cawing bird is raven, while crow and rook cannot caw in french :)

Je sais de l'importance de saluer en disant "Bonjour" ou "Bonsoir" dans les établissenent, mais je ne suis pas sûr si c'est le même dans la rue, par exemple en demandant le chemin. Je dirais "Excusez-moi"..." "Bonjour, excusez-moi . ." c'est trop, ou non? Peut-étre "Bonjour" en lieu de "Excusez-moi"?

Mais mec, plupart de monde ici n’ont pas un niveau plus haut, alors, je pense que cette rythme et vitesse sont parfait. Si vous voulez quelque chose un petit peu plus avancé, je vous conseille de regardez leur ancien video avec les locataires. Je pense ils commencent réaliser ces videos dans cette vitesse après recevoir beaucoup plus d’avis comme les vôtres pour parle lus lentement. Vous avez toujours l’option pour augmenter la vitesse en utilisant sur youtube, n’est-ce pas?

haha the "beaucoup" thing is very funny! here in brazil we have the same problem when foreign people come and ask for pão de queijo. it's a very common (and delicious) bread and it's kinda offensive to say the english version "cheese bread". so foreign try to say "pão" and it commonly gets out as "pau" (pao) which is... well, dick.
