Hey, my man, this list is genius! There's no point in wearing a suit if someone makes these basic mistakes. I would add, as it is, maybe the most common one among youngsters or those who want to look "cool" , wearing pants too short (and tight). They believe that classic proportions are "old" and "fashion has changed" 🤦‍♂️ or "I don't want to look like King Charles." Just awful how tacky these look, and they even believe they look good 😂

Help is needed, now that you mention wearing a light pink shirt is appropriate, I have to learn what colors I pair it with and which vendor Mr. V recommends. Thanks again, you're wonderful.

@Dogrescuer. I have sever light grey jackets and a light grey flannel suit.And a collection of pink shirts, in various shades and fabrics. While I prefer plain white shirts, with any type of light grey suit, or jacket, I think any type of light pink shirt is a wonderful background to virtually any colour tie. Of course you have to like wearing a tie in the first place. A very low cost way of finding out if you would like wearing any shade of pink shirt is to go looking for them in any Charity Shop in any upmarket suburb, which is the area where light coloured shirts are populaf If you are experienced in this field you will often find that premium brand shirts, that sell new in the $150-200 range can be bought, already professionally washed and ironed for less than $10 and sometimes as low as $5.00 each. So go out bargain shopping and emjoy experimenting with new looks for half of the price of the average hamburger. But use the Dressing Room at the Charity Store to try the shirt on first, because quality brand shirts are made with specific collar sizes, not just M,S and L. Phil.

@@dogrescuer1321 The short answer is I would be pleased to give you my personal opinion, but the reason why I started watching this channel was because after spending 12 weeks in the largest Hospital in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, I then returned to that hospital, for the last three years with COVID 19 induced blood clots in my brain that will not respond to any known treatment, and I was given a maximum of one week to live. But the Doctors at the Thrombosis Clinic, who had been treating me for the brain injury that was the outcome of a brutal Criminal Assault, that occurred three days before I contracted COVID 19, and was told by the Doctor in Charge, "You will not live to see the end of the day", said that they had a potential treatment, but they could not use it unless I gave them a signed Legal Idemnity, because it involved the use of a very dangerous drug, at four times its safe maximum strength, for three months, which was three times longer than the safe maximum time. But both the Doctors and I were amazed, when after three months the first blood test they conducted showed that I was totally free of blood clots. As I have a very high level technical education, having started my Engineering career with a GE and Victorian Government JV in the field of high voltage X-rays, I knew that regression was not uncommon, so I asked for the very high risk treatment to be continued until I felt fully cured. And I have now reached that stage. During that long time I watched a lot of KZbin videos covering the field of Mens Fashion, because I felt that I had been given a Second Life. I discovered that most presenters spoke a lot about clothing, and current styles, but aside from fashion related commets, I discovered that with the exception of Vladimir, no KZbin presenter had anything but a superficial knowledge of the entire Shoe Industry. That did not bother me, because what I was really interested in seeing was reviews of current fashions, which have changed radically during the last three years, due to the massive growth in Online retail sales, along with the closure of local factories in both the USA and Australia, while England has been able to continue to make some of the worlds best quality shoes, but those brands now have their volume selling lines made in Spain, so thaf the UK companies can still retain control over their brand. Why I am critical about the comments made on most KZbin channels is because 60 years ago, when I had just started my own Chemical Engineering/Specialty Chemical manufacturing business, in Church Street Richmond (Now a very up market suburb) I bought the very well known Kennons Tannery 10 acre site in Bridge Road Richmond, on the bank of Melbourne's famous Yarra River because I wanted to use their excellent Laboratory to create new industrial chemical products. What I ended up with, was a Library full of very voluminous Text Books, some 100 years old, covering every imaginable topic on the subject of processing leather. At that time it took Sailing Ships up to 6 months to bring finished leather from Europe and the UK to Australia, where the country was teeming with sheep and cattle, so we produced our own. That is how R.L. Williams first sourced the leather for their famous hand-made boots that are now sold in the USA. So that explains why I am an expert in every facet of the Shoe Manufacturing Industry. But I hope that it also explains why I believe that Vlad is one of the most credible YT commentators. So, now to get back to the question that you would like to raise. Regards, Phillip.

I like the colour of your pocket silk. It really stands out with a sparkle on my very cheap mobile phone screen.I am sure that it looks very stylish in a face to face situation. It has just started to snow in Melbourne Australia, so the colours in both a pocket square and a tie are lost under the heavy overcoat that is needed in Melbourne, because our snow fields are only a hour drive out of Melbourne, and if you look at a map you will see that in the real world the icy wind from the South Pole blow straight up Port Phillip Bay straight into the Melbourne CBD. So New York is on this year's Bucket List. The backdrop to NY in your video makes the very long flight look inviting. Once again the yellow highlight in your pocket square is definitely "Me". Phil.

The rest collection are too english style in your opinion ? What other line in s&m is italian unconstructed style and easy to wear as more sporty ? Thank you
@v_r_

The main differences are the lapel sizes, the higher armholes and the unpadded shoulders. Those are all features that I like personally and always wanted when I started to get really serious about Menswear. Back then there was a brand called Eidos that made Neapolitan inspired suits as well but they were about 1.5k. Another feature that I love about that cut from S&M is their trousers have a higher rise and pleats. Both things that I can’t live without.

my biggest mistake was, I knew nothing about cloth, what's even available, many tailors will only buy leftovers from agents and while they may have a wide range, they might not have the good stuff because it's double or triple the price, so one has to educate oneself, find out what's best for a particular season, what drapes well, what makes a good jacket but maybe not a suit, and then you need to find someone to buy the cloth from, it's not like buying an iPhone.

I have some darker shirts and wear them from time to time but I think Vlad is mostly focusing on wearing classic type of suits and looking reasonably formal here, in which case go lighter with the shirts would be totally a sound advice. If you're paring odd jackets and trousers, or wearing suits that supposed to be casual like a bright linen suit, you would have more freedom to choose from variety of colors and materials for your shirts.
