His voice is like a warm blanket. It has an extra layer that most singers don't have. Gutteral vibrato i call it. Then he hits these amazing highs. Best singer i've heard in awhile i think. It's perfection.

Beautiful voice yes. But I challenge you to hear one of his songs and write down even 50% of the words in the song if you hadn't known the lyrics before. What happened to artists that know how to clearly pronounce each word. You couldn't do it if you didn't already know the song. You would have to pull up a page of the lyrics.

In Sweden he is a superstar but as soon as he came to America he was back to being an unknown artist and practically had to start all over again. Back to small gigs at bars because Americans are still like “Chris who?”. This is why he deserves a shot at AGT. Even if he doesn’t make it to the finale it will still be a greater accomplishment than winning the entirety of Swedish Idol.

People who are even remotely 'different' are often discarded in favor of someone(s) who fit the current. I stopped watching all the shows in this genre because it seemed like, year after year, the best voices on any of them didn't get voted through. I thought it was all about music. I'm disenchanted.
