I think LEGO actually changed the arch bricks to work with the window pieces. You could have had an older version of the piece.
@gjacobson76
@gjacobson76 2 жыл бұрын
There are actually 3 varieties of the arch. The oldest one does not work at all, and the second on is a little better, but is still not right. The latest one fits perfect. Jaystepher made a video about this if you want to check it out.

1:20 Fun Fact: Because of the LEGO logos on top of the studs on the plate, it actually makes the plates stacked on top ever so slightly higher than the brick shown on the right. The crazy thing is that if you replaced that plate on the bottom with a plate that had stud holes, it would actually remove that issue!

great video I already started to use some of the techniques on my LEGO AMTRAK ALC-42 MOC like the hinge pieces for the nose, quarter round 1x1 tiles for the headlights. and I also use the 1 tile, 4 plates and snot bricks technique for some other MOC's such as train coaches. and the bracket pieces are useful for headlights and if I need to light up the headlights on my train MOC's I can use the eyelit pieces for that purpose.

When i first found out about the friction and non- friction technic pins, it was in my 4th grade teacher's Lego robotics class. She told us in her giant set of lego storage drawers that she sorted by peice, not color. At the time, pretty much nobody knew about this so we put them all in the same drawer, because we knew she didn't care about color. When she saw them both in one drawer, she was outraged and told us we were way better than that and she was dissapointed. All of us were confused until she explained.
