No one ever addresses the amount of headache, lack of integrity in labor, and disaster that it is to run a short-term rental in this town. Santa Fe doesn't allow any STR's right now, they have too many restrictions

With the expception of Incline Village, the rest of Lake Tahoe forbid short-term rentals, or have serious restricitons....based on what I have read.

Lake Tagoe is a regulatory nightmare...unless I am missing something (would love for that to be the case). Also, Santa Fe seems difficult as well...

Kissimmee have got zoning laws that don’t allow STR in the prime areas. And Charleston don’t allow STR unless you are living in the house while guests are there

Yes they do.. James island through johns island and some parts of downtown allow it also North Charleston

Own an Airbnb for a year now working great! Also a friend of mine bought one and also doing great… 15 min from Disney … hire a realtor that has experience on Airbnb

If this is a 2023 list it’s very dated. Saturation, city restrictions make it very difficult to get STRs in a lot of these cities

Forget Slidell... The entire parish of Saint Tammany outlawed all short term rentals... All rentals must be (I'm thinking) 90 days long ... But I could be wrong it may be 30... Anyways that change wiped out a whole lot of investors in STR's
