Angle vs Mysterio is straight up one of the best openers of any ppv of all time. It was such a simple yet effective feud with fast paced high flying and technical action that had the crowd hooked and made Rey look strong in the end as well as Kurt

Dolph Ziggler was my favorite. At 13, I turned against Rey for beating Dolph for no reason. Only for Rey to fail a drug test and have to lose the title weeks later. Dolph being here 3 times is awesome. He's an absolute workhorse and is one of the best wrestlers of this era.

Worst part is, apparently Rey was supposed to drop the belt to Dolph at Night Of Champions, but refused. So he ended up beating him. Two times. Before failing a drug test and having to forfeit it(in which he agreed to drop it to John Morrison, who proceeded to beat Dolph again cause why not). Probably the worst thing Rey's ever done. Guess everyone's prone to "that doesn't work for me, brother" backstage politics syndrome.

Hakushi was kind of underrated back in the day. As were quite a few Japanese wrestlers who went into the WWE in the 90s and the 2000s.

He joined WWF at the wrong time. It was the New Generation era of loud cartoonish gimmicks while Hakushi was trying to be a quiet threatening guy. He didn't fit the aesthetic of the company at the time.

Hard to argue against any of the matches listed (Hakushi vs. 1-2-3 Kid has long been an unsung favourite of mine), so I'd throw in to honourable mentions, for different reasons. Power & Glory vs. The Rockers (1990) - This was such a great story-driven tag-team match and, for me P&G should have been given so much more than they were. Jeri-KO vs. Enzo & Cass (2016) - An absolute riot of an opener, and another tag-team match (I absolutely LOVE tag-team wrestling), with Kevin Owens doing the Enzo shuffle just being the icing on the Canadian cake.

Yeah definitely can't argue with any of these and Becky being involved in 2 of the top 5 shows how valuable she is. Maybe it's because Summerslam has been a landmark for me on my watching of WWF/E (SS92 was my first ppv i saw, SS95 was my last until SS99) but for me Wrestlemania is the spectacle show but Summerslam was the wrestling show. When Seth vs Edge was announced for it i said "that's a Summerslam match".

(What If...) When Dean Ambrose returned from injury with a new look, the IC Championship scene would've been fun involving Ambrose and Drew McIntyre since they were former IC Champions. Maybe end the Ziggler-McIntyre relationship through a Fatal 4 Way Iron Man match at Hell in a Cell 2018, where Ambrose & Rollins don't care much who ends up as the champion as long as it stays in the Shield.

The Rey/Angle match is great. What gets over looked is they had a rematch, of equal quality, a few weeks later on Smackdown. Why is this match forgotten? It was sandwiched in between Brock breaking Hardcore Holly's neck and the gay wedding. Just a lot of awful. The Lesnar match more in hindsight because we got the Holly main event run. Yes the Uncle Eric reveal was fun, but the build up is so boring. Seriously, go and watch it, it drags on for ages where nothing happens, and the network has edited out the original misic. That last point is not good or bad as such, just a thing i noticed because there was so little else going on in that segment.
