Marianne had me freaking out big time with the phone call scene. Haven't had that kind of intensity from any TV show before. Other than that, the show was very average in terms of horror.

The ritual being so low on the list is such a crime. I wasnt expecting much when i first watched it but i vivdly remeber that expierence and have been chasing that high ever since. its seriously amazing.

Y'know. I wonder what other people are seeing when I see movies rated a 6+ when they obviously deserve a 7 or even an 8? Ritual is a fantastic movie. It is not a 6.2 but more like an 8 (IMO). Serously, a 6.2 is a D in school. if this were a classroom project, how is this movie, or any of the others on this list, only deserving of a D?

“Ritual” is literally one of my favorite horror movies of the past years. It’s not a stand out huge hit or even terrifying - it just hits differently for me. I think it’s seriously underrated and deserves a better score than it got. The acting in it is great too.

I don't know why, but Gerald's game is the only scary movie I've ever seen that gave me nightmares. I found it very scary. I'm sure there's many people that didn't, but i did.

I really love the movie “Hush” the strong female protagonist has a solid handicap but still kicks ass and the killer is creepy, scary, and motivated in a way that makes the movie tense and a good watch. I’ve seen that movie a few times now and it’s still very good! The main character ended up in the Netflix series “Haunting of Hill House” and “The Fall of the House of Usher”. Both of which in my opinion are some of the best horror series on Netflix.

Don't be fooled by the trailers. Netflix's definition of the horror genre is different from everyone elses. 1922 and Apostle are NOT horror movies. Both are very slow paced and feel like 3hrs long of pure boredom of time wasted you'll never get back. As for Hush, another movie wrongly categorised as `horror'. If you've seen Scream (yawn), Halloween or Friday the 13th, there's nothing new here, but the same old boring slasher movie about crazed psychopaths with big knives.
