FUN FACT: back in the day games usually came out in what we would call a "finished state" or "full game" with no chance to add anything in later, and usually portions of very large teams were finished sooner than others giving them free time to put in EXTRA things like Easter Eggs.

FUN FACT: Back in the day games in a “finished state” were never actually finished and in fact had many bugs which is why you could easily glitch things in and get corrupt saves. It’s easy to say a modern game isn’t in a finished state but compare the likes of Tetris to a graphically and technically demanding game now and you’ll see there’s a HUGE reason why games still aren’t in a “finished state” and likely never will be. There will always be bugs in games and the most polished game you’ll ever get is Pong on the Atari considering there wasn’t much to get wrong there in the first place lmao. Back in the day when we were kids we longed to have these massive games with so much to do but somehow a lot of us lost that desire and just shit on every new release. Thank god I’m not one of those people.

That Sheng Long April Fool's joke was wild at the arcades. I remember people trying to get to Sheng Long. Defeat all opponents with Perfects. Then you had to fight Bison for 10 rounds, without him touching you. All it did was reset the cabinet, but it was awesome to watch people try. That was before Champion Edition too.

The Resident Evil for bell tower doesn't need to be used with a sniper rifle. You can hit it with the starting pistol. It's just a lot harder.

fun fact about the RE4R bell tower secret, it can be done outside of a new game plus run with the starting pistol you have, albeit its far trickier to achieve because of how the pistol functions compared to other scoped weapons

I disagree, i believe it is the worst form of artsyle and not unique for 2023, we have too many jaggly lined jittery cartoon carachters and online animators who have claimed that as their own "style" to compensate for whatever they're lacking as a form of self-defense. The art alone is the sole reason why I refuse to play pizza tower or even watch related content, it's way too cringe and intentionally bad to where the intention gets superceded by the badness itself. It's trying too hard to look like they're not trying at all, it's an overused gimmick. Pizza Tower is a disgrace to anything and everything Pizza Related.

So many game's nowadays fall into this "overwatch style" or game's that fall into a very limited design box. I've found Spawn of Oggdo... haven't beaten him yet, he's REALLY tough. Like way tougher then I remember it's daddy being in the first game but I gave up, at least temporarily, stating I'll be coming back for him later. At least I remembered Oggdo and got the reference... sadly didn't get the V in the, I've even taken the damn Rancor out but the Spawn was just aggravating me.

I cheated and force pulled the bedlam smashers from the higher platform, then activated the trapdoor while they were both standing over it and let them fight the Spawn for as long as they could before jumping in and finishing the fight.

I loved All the dead space games, and something strange is that I preferred 3 over 2, the third one gives me a feeling of a game I’ve always wanted and wish a game like this was made, I mean dead space 3 made me feel like a tomb raider in space I know they’re very different but these are the vibes I felt, felt it like a space adventure game more than a survival horror and I actually love it

I played three before one so it was a bit of a head turner when I realised how the series had changed. I probably agreed with you at first just because it threw me. I actually have good memories of the third even though I objectively know it actually kind of sucked when I'd actually played all three. I need to play the remake but haven't got round to it yet.

The thing Dead Space 3 was really good at was solid gameplay. The crafting system was really really good and the pacing in which you leveled up said system was good. Isaac's movement was also given an upgrade to feel like less a man in a tank-suit and to feel more natural while still keeping that "heavy" feel. In all aspects of gameplay Dead Space 3 is quite a bit ahead of its predecessors but save for a few exceptions the horror element that Dead Space became known for isn't really there. They do give an in-game explanation for this of course. Basically, Isaac has overcome the Marker induced madness in 2, so is no longer subject to the hallucinations and delusions and his reaction to everything happening this time around is profound exasperation rather than any kind of terror and it's reflected in gameplay. Isaac went from horror protagonist to third-person-shooter protagonist and the game was changed to reflect that. Combat encounters await in every single room, corridor and exterior space. It's an action set-piece from beginning to end. But there is never any tension. The DLC campaign brings back what the game was originally about in a big way though. Too bad about the cliffhanger ending though.

I just fought him a few days ago and wow! After many, many deaths, I just knocked down the guys from above with the electric hammers, let them fight him first and significantly lower his health before jumping in and finishing him off. And even doing that I had to give it a couple of tries because he’s faster and more aggressive with lower health.

there's the easter egg for "final fantasy tatics" on ff16 too and hiden in plain site, Final fantasy tatics's Cid is called TG (Thunder God) Cid, and in 16 he is Ramuh's Dominante

I loved the Dead Space Trilogy and I must be the only 1 who liked the direction of DS3. You had human enemies mixed in and it was action packed with co-op and collecting. Space flight was good for exploring.

Regarding Octopath Traveler 2, that's not a secret boss. Vide is just the end of the game. It's just the finale. That's why you get the end screen and epilogue after beating him. Galdera though is definitely a secret boss.

I tried all night with the pistol to hit the bell, only to find out it's disabled on the first playthrough. Kinda glad though, because you only have to run for 5 minutes, or take out 13 enemies. Pretty easy..
