Nice video but you forgot those 3... 1) Beach of Bocadasse 2) All funiculaires, mountain trains and elevators (public transport) 3) Medieval center

Bigo as number 1? Are you kidding me? That's a tourist trap. Go to Spianata Castelletto using the public elevator recently restored. For better views, take a trip on the cableway Zecca-Righi and you will end up on a mountain ovrelooking the whole city and one of its valleys. There are SO many things in Genova that are way better than the Bigo.

@@maryamabaee332 swimming in town can be hit or miss due to its proximity to the harbor: some days the water is super clean, some others nor so much). If you really want to go swimming, you will have to mover further east or west. If you don't have a car you can hop on a regional train, or you can buy a ticket for a lovely boat trip alon the coast to Camogli or, even better, San Fruttuoso. You can also continue on to Portofino and you might spot some VIPs. I would suggest you take a whole day doing that. If you can skip the beach, then there is a lot to see: via San Lorenzo and the cathedral, Palazzo Ducale, via XX settembre for shopping, via Garibaldi and its museums, the museum of cultures of the worls in Castello d'Albertis, the recently re-opened museo Chiossone of oriental art in Villetta Dinegro. Via Luccoli is the most friendly of the "caruggi" for foreigners: the old town is a tru maze and you might get lost. Corso Italia is a lovely seaside promenade ending at Boccadasse, a beutiful slice of old town right on the coasr: there you can go to the local fishermen coop and irder a paper cone full of fresh fried fish and a glass of white wine (yum!!). In Sottoripa (by Porto Antico) you can find "Il gran ristoro": it's a super tiny sub-sandwich shop with a crazy variety of options from cold cuts, to pickled everything, to any cheese and spread you can imagine: just tell the clerk what you're in the mood for and let them do their magic. If you're willing to travel further from downtown, villa Pallavicini and villa Serra di Comago (west of town) are beautiful, and parchi di Nervi (east of town) and passeggiata Anita Garibaldi are great. If you are a hiker, I strongly recommend to visit the Parco delle Mura with all its forts from the Napoleonic era. There is SO much more... just ask and I'll be happy to give you ideas

The stress is on the first syllable of the name of the city, just so everybody knows :)

OMG! I was wondering if I was the only person screaming at this video every time the narrator butchered the name! Must be computer-generated, no?

gee kind of looses credibility when you mispronounce the city you are talking about.
