Pranaam Swami 🙏🙏 I am addicted to your teaching on Advaita. I marinate in your teachings. While you are explaining Bhakti & knowledge I would say Bhakti is blind without knowledge & knowledge is crippled without Bhakti 🙏🙏

For one who is born, death is certain, and for one who dies, he must be reborn to undergo the reactions of his past actions. Therefore, you should not lament over the inevitable.

I am watching this lecture today, 2 years later after it took place, but for future reference, could Swami ji kindly repeat the question asked by the audience before answering [he sometimes does], since we can't hear it [though we can mostly guess from the answer]. 🙏

Scientist can't see what's going on in mind how would they see what leaves the body at death
@madhukiranattivilli23213 жыл бұрын
Reincarnation, even if it is true, is just like a SciFi movie. No point in giving importance to that. Becoz we don't remember past lives, and once we die and go to the next life, we wouldn't remember this current life. So, spirituality should help us in improving current life, to get max happiness in current life. If that isn't feasible, it is just time waste to give importance to spirituality and the spiritual processes.

We carry sanchita karna. We need to be bothered about it
@madhukiranattivilli23213 жыл бұрын
@@AnimGraphix Yeah, same sanchitha. But the current "me" and the "me" in previous incarnation and the "me" in next incarnation are like 3 different persons for practical purposes due to lack of continuity in the conscious mind. If I bother and grow spiritually and die, the "me" in next incarnation will be benefitted. It's good for the society, but personally to the "me" right now it makes no difference that someone in next life is getting benefitted. I should be only concerned with practicing spiritual methods so to be benefitted in current incarnation (intelligence, bliss, health, energy, etc). Hence, seeing selfishly, there is no point in bothering, seeing unselfishly I need not be bothered.
@KamalSenIndia3 жыл бұрын
@@madhukiranattivilli2321 Kindly go thru the core concepts in Non-Dualism. It is not conscious mind, mind is in conscious ness. Unless, the difference are well studied, there will be clarity issues, leave alone birth and rebirth.
@madhukiranattivilli23213 жыл бұрын
@@KamalSenIndia By "conscious mind" I mean the mind that can access conscious memory, or the mind that can not access unconscious memory. Tendencies are stored in unconscious memory, which is traditionally referred to as sanchitha. By conscious memory, I mean the data stored in the neuron brain cells. Data of unconscious memory isn't stored on the physical body. Another meaning of "conscious mind" is a mind that's made conscious of, or a mind that's illumined by pure consciousness (or witness consciousness). This illumination is done by the reflected consciousness, i.e. the pure consciousness that reflects in the mind, in the words of Sarva.
@madhukiranattivilli23213 жыл бұрын
@UCWVP8hirQ4AB5Mjx6Q8IpuQ I know all this. But we still need language to communicate. Me or I or self is the result of mind assuming mind’s actions and body’s actions as self’s actions. So self is a subset of mind and called ahankara. Self is a fiction as it doesn’t really exist. I know all this. Yet, when I communicate with others using language I have to use terms like me and you. Right!
