Hi friends, something important to tell you and get your suggestions on. As you are aware I am making 'biggest cities' series covering states of India, but the data available(including official government data) is very limited and prone to high variations for the smaller states, and I want not to offend the feelings of my dear brothers and sisters by missing out any town which otherwise should have been included. Also some viewers in recent videos of smaller states have mentioned that all the 10 places mentioned in the video are not cities which I also fully agree to, it was a deliberate choice for easier understanding for most of the audience keeping in mind the presentability aspect, A title and introduction such as: 'Top 2 cities of state X and Top 5 towns of state X and top 3 municipal council of state X' would look very odd and unpresentable. I hence request for your kind opinion whether you want me to make the videos of remaining states despite these non-avoidable inconsistencies or not. To add I would also like to mention that videos of smaller states impact the overall channel performance, hence I earlier took the decision to make video of smaller states also to not make my northeastern friends feel left out knowing well in advance that it would impact the channel's performance negatively. Remaining states: Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Goa, Ladakh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep So please vote to help me make the decision... However, the census conducted by the central government is reliable to an extent. Anyways, which year is this census? 2011 census or 2021 which hasn't yet arrived?

Hi Nepoleaon, I totally understand you and you are very much correct, but when we are making video we have to look into the presentability aspect also, It would look a bit odd to introduce the topic as Top 2 cities of X state and Top 8 towns of X state. The title is just for easier comprehending for most of the audience, it may not be 100% accurate representation but it gets essential that most viewers find it easier to understand. 🙂

@@10ON10 Churachandpur district headquarters' town is the most populated area and most developed town only next to Imphal in Manipur. You won't find on Google the exact and accurate population because the census town records/covers only few localities. The rest localities are recorded differently as villages. There are so many localities in this district headquarters town. Even only three localities Tuibong, Rengkai and New Lamka combine would be more than 30,000.

@Sompu Actually I refer to actual government census records and the other sources only augment the data for growth parameters, which is followed by necessary extrapolations and other computations. I feel the confusion in this particular case may also have arisen as the data after the formation of new districts in Manipur may have not got updated. The data from smaller states always have higher variation probabilities owing to remoteness of states and also limited(accurate) census scope.
