Absolutely disagree on #3. You've got to understand that some of us are chewbacca level of hairy. I trim my legs to the point where my leg hair is normal length - it looks much better, doesn't make my legs hot and most importantly during standing up/sitting down the hair on the back of my knee doesn't get pulled up.
