The Konami code itself is "up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A". A common misconception is that the code ends with Start or Select Start. In many games you have to press Start after entering the code in order to start the game, or press Select to switch to two-player mode and then start the game, leading to the confusion.
@stellarart34442 жыл бұрын
It depends on the game actually. It wasn't the same for every single game. You had to try all the variants, and sometimes had to begin the sequence with cursor at the bottom of the menu so that when you push select start the cursor was in the right place. I think the turtle on the stairs in Super Mario should have been on here though. I know they didn't intend it, but you could get as many lives as you were willing to wait for. Better accident since the designer put that in on purpose for testing.
@mlroeder2 жыл бұрын
About American Woman, since it was completely improvised, the only reason that the band was able to replicate the song, especially the lyrics, afterwards is because a fan in the audience recorded the audio. So there's another little happy accident for that song. We listened to The Guess Who all the time, since my parents were teens in the 70s, and we're Canadian, so it's always nice to see stuff about them. 🇨🇦 ❤ 🇨🇦 P.S. It's always fun when Simon is forced to talk about Star Wars! 😂😂😂

I used nicotine lozenges to quit smoking. At first it was like "wow quiting is easy". Then I calculated that I had actually increased my nicotine consumpution with the lozenges.
@Benson_aka_devils_advocate_882 жыл бұрын
That's how they are supposed to work. You start out with a higher dose in order to get used to the lozenges and getting the nicotine that way. Since a big part of the addiction is the act of smoking this allows you to work in breaking the mental habit of smoking without fighting with the physical withdrawal. Once you get used to that then you start lowering the dose.

And all over the world, that isn't the US, or the EU, cigarettes and other tobacco products are still being shamelessly promoted - especially towards young people. One of the high schools I went to was a tech school and didn't have a mascot or any sports teams. But we did have a robotics team, which I was on, and was a co-captain of in my senior year. That year, one of the guys on my team decided to bring his panda mascot suit that he bought as a Halloween costume one time and it became Our Thing, and now the school's unofficial mascot is a panda. Also, fun fact if you've never worn a mascot suit before: they're not super pleasant to be in. It's hot and sweaty and you can barely see or hear anything.
