There's also an overwhelming feeling to return home again. To where you grew up as a child. To revisit your old haunts. 😢

I downsized from a 9 bedroom 3300 sq. ft. home to a small 3 bedroom, 1600 sq.ft. home, but it's on the same street I grew up on. Just a few houses from my family home. I can see my old house out of my windows. It brings back alot of memories.

I always think back to work issues and what I could have done differently. My mind wonders, especially at night.

The filter thing came out of left field for me. I wasn't aware this would happen until one day it did. The things I catch myself saying now! And I have no patience for nonsense. I used to be very go along to get along. Not anymore. If I'm not enjoying myself or my kids aren't having fun, we leave. I will not spend my time doing something I don't like. I wish I'd adopted this philosophy many years ago. So interesting to see how we change around the 50 year mark!

@jenniferh8961 I feel you. I do it so often (from intrusive thoughts), I think I spend more time living in the past than I do the present. Good thing _The Twilight Zone_ isn't real because it would be my dumb luck to get stuck in the past one time too many and be forever barred from returning to the present!😳 #Stuck

So true. We all definitely become more invisible as we age. You have a great perspective on that.

Good video with the things covered affect so many of us. I moved to a farm with my husband 12 years ago..we went to a function at the hall at the small village near us…think 30people from the area. We being “newer” were called foreigners during a conversation cause we were just listening to the stories, the comment came with, this is nothing to do with you foreigners . It upset us so we left and we won’t ever rejoin that group of people. I too don’t have a filter I lost it a long time ago. I don’t have friends so what’s the point I now speak my mind. Declutterring is easy for me. I hate chaos and a messy or over full house makes me anxious. I just want to clean things out. I’m in the middle of my wardrobe right now. So cathartic. 😊I also suffer with a frozen shoulder and arthritis through both shoulders and in my left hip. So I get a he’s and pains. I still walk every second day on my treadmill. I also went cold turkey with sugar a month ago. I found a lady on KZbin called Caroline her channel is Mediterranean Minutes and I tell you. A dietary game changer. I always ate the Mediterranean way but not embraced it, now I follow it as I’ve learned from this delightful lady. She has meal prep, hunts and tricks, and recipes, the whys and how fors. It really helped with my diet. I don’t miss sugar. As for mortality I faced that a few years ago and still think about it cause I had cancer surgery and still on suppression therapy. I think we all think about it, but shouldn’t focus on it. Life is for living. My motto is live it as if it’s your last day. Thanks for your video Amy.

I have found being in your 50's is very different for men than women. Several of the men around me just have flipped their personality. So many men seem bitter and almost to the point of being mean . I feel like a lot of the points are true . I'm now living with some of the health stuff, so really take care and do yoga.

I tried listening to Gary V. But he really turned me off with his bad language. If he didn't insert the F word between every 2 or 3 words he used , I'd be more willing to listen to him. His message is good, but you can get your point across without using bad language to do it. He's not for me. I tried.
