Looking at the current state of movies and TV, I think more studios should "leak" their scripts online before sinking millions of dollars into bad ideas. Give me that high-budget live action Ben 10 movie though.

Ideas aren't the issue, it's execution. Most scripts, by design, aren't rife with material, it's a bare bones blueprint. Plenty of great scripts suffered during production and others were bad scripts turned into great films (Star Wars). Execution is everything. Many multimillion dollar films work just film, people just prefer to look at the misses over the hits.

You need people who are actually passionate and have knowledge of the project they are trying to create. Like don’t just have some writer or director who’ve never watched a Cartoon Network show create an animated or live action movie.

I honestly didn't know they tried to make so many live action versions of certain CN shows. I remember Powerpuff clear as day because I followed it from announcement to cancelation. The script leaking was just the peak of that whole mess, and looking back it was funny as shit.

Wow, nice! 😀👍🏽 Back in the 2010s, I was hyped that Adventure Time would be getting a movie to be released in theatres, but it was never officially announced, and that never happened. I'm even familiar with the cancelled Chowder TV movie and I Heart Tuesdays (it was planned to be an animated series created by R&B singer Shaffer Chimere Smith (aka Ne-Yo), but it was never produced, though, no production material of the planned animated series exists online).

@SeekerofTheLost Same, mate, and also Buttercup was easily the worst thing in this script, the ACTUAL Buttercup not matter in the version would not be asshole to her sisters 24/7, and even if she was attracted to girls(or being bi at best like with Ace), she would not leak her partner's nudes(that's insane) but Bubbles being a prostitute is up there(my fucking god my poor girl 😭😭)

I think the reason they do this. is because they try to break the stigma that animation is for kids, and they try to branch out into the live action crowd and see if they will like the property being that these are most likely people that would have never given a cartoon a chance. See it happen all the time for comics, and it actually ended up working out. Problem is it seems like cartoons don't have talented visionaries like james gunn, or zack snyder, that can translate these properties into live action well.

I'd Kill For Cartoon Network In Air DiGata Defenders In 2008-2009 I Missed It when It aired on Fox (4Kids TV) In 2007 when I wasn't In the right mindset at the moment at least I have watched Skunk Fu a worse show by comparison but still held my attention long enough to keep a consistent airing Schedule
